All AboutWoodstock/KidstockKidstock 1 Mile Run/Walk for kids 14 and under The Kidstock 1 Mile Run/Walk will start at 8:30 a.m. All participants will receive finisher ribbons.

Kidstock Awards Only 14-year olds and younger are eligible for Kidstock awards. The following overall trophies will be awarded:1st, 2nd, 3rd Place Overall Male/Female Kidstock trophies will be given to the top three finishers, male and female, in each age category: 5-under; 6-8; 9-11; 12-14.

Kid’s Corral Don’t let your kids keep you from running the 5K! The Kid’s Corral is available - sign in your child to our childcare volunteers at 7:15 a.m. and pick them up when you finish the race! Then let them run the Kidstock 1 Mile Run/Walk! The Kid’s Corral activities will be located right by the finish. Check the box on the entry form to let us know you need space. It’s free, but the number is limited to 30 kids.

Woodstock Goes Green Don’t trash those cans or plastic! Woodstock is proud to show its green side by offering a recycling option for all recyclable waste at our event. Save your old shoes, too! We will be accepting your old running shoes to recycle.

Packet Pickup Pasta PigoutFriday, July 31 at Classic on Noble Don’t miss out on the best pre-race meal ever! This is the motherlode of carbo loads! You’ve never had a better pasta dinner, and it’s included in your race entry fee! Also, this is your last chance to register for both the 5K and the 1 Mile fun run. Pickup your race packet/goody bag and you are ready to run. (Non-runners can enjoy the meal, too, with a $10.00 cash donation or check to United Cerebral Palsy OR Special Olympics.) Plan to attend the Packet Pickup Pasta Pigout the night before the big race (Friday, July 31) from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at 1024 Noble Street in downtown Anniston. But be sure to check the box on the entry form to let us know you are coming so we can make sure to have enough noodles!

Results/Awards are based on Chip Time (not Gun Time). There will be no “double-dipping” on awards. For example, if the winner of the 1st Place Overall Male is 40-years old, he will not col-lect the Masters (40-49) Award, too. If you sign up for the Clydesdale or Athena Division, you WILL be eligible for Overall Awards, but you will NOT be eligible for Age-Group Awards.

Woodstock trophies will be given to the top three finishers, male and female, in each age category:

NEW for 2009 Woodstock trophies will be given to the top three finishers in the following divisions, but runners must check the appropriate box on the entry form to be entered in these divisions.

Woodstock 5K Awards

Bib Numbers You will receive a bib number in your Race Packet. Make sure you wear the number you receive. Your number must be visible at all times during the event for safety reasons, and so the race announcer and race photographer can identify you.

timing Chip - Woodstock Only On RACE MORNING, you will go to the CHIP TENT to receive a ChampionChip that you will attach to your shoe with bubble ties. Make sure the chip is secure! You must return the chip at the end of the race. This chip is programmed to coincide with your individual race number. It is imperative that you wear your assigned chip until you cross the finish line. Someone will take your chip from you after you finish. If you do not turn in your chip, you will be billed a $50 replacement fee.

YOU MUST WEAR THE TIMING CHIP AND CROSS THE TIMING MATS TO BE SCORED!

team Challenge - Woodstock Only Get your group members, co-workers, church members, or friends to form a team and compete for special team awards and door prizes! Wear team shirts, dress alike, bring cheerleaders! At least one team member must be an active Anniston Runners Club member with a minimum of 5 and maximum of 10 runners/walkers. The top 5 times from each team will be averaged with the quickest average as the winning team. Team members must fill out a regular Woodstock entry form and pay the regular entry fee. Food, Door Prizes, and Post-Race Party! Woodstock is known for a fantastic post-race party! Great music! Waffle House and Mellow Mushroom will feed the runners! Popsicles, watermelon, peanut butter and jelly, and more are available after the race. There will be two aid stations on the course, and water and Gatorade at the start/finish and at the Post-Race Party. There will be more than $3,000 in donated doorprizes. Expect to win something!

Want to be a Vendor? We would love to have you as vendor at our event! Go to the website, www.woodstock5k.com, fill out the Woodstock Vendor Form 2009, and mail it in! Hosting a booth is free, but we do require you to register before the event. Woodstock is good for vendors, and the vendors are great for Woodstock!
