They are under the administration of the Chicago Housing Authority (CHA) and are grouped with the Robert Brooks Homes (built in 1943), Brooks Extension (built in 1961), Loomis Courts (built in 1950), Grace Abbott Homes (built in 1955), and Jones Apartments (built in 1963)

The Jane Addams Homes, located at Throop and Taylor, consisted of 32

Courts (built in 1950), Grace Abbott Homes (built in 1955), and Jones

Apartments (built in 1963) under the name "ABLA Homes".

The following photos were taken on March 9, 2006 at what remains of the Jane Addams Housing Project. The land where the Jane

Addams Housing Project once stood is being sold by LR Realty Company, LLC as

Roosevelt Square, “Solid Community, Caring Neighbors.”

Currently 1, 2, and 3 bedroom condos sell from $285,000; town homes, from $489,000.
