For the last two years, I have been the Director of Online Education and have had the pleasure of having Vanessa as one of my instructors. Vanessa has always been more than just an instructor; she has contributed to the upkeep of the College's website, helped film interviews with local digital graphic professionals for our Digital Graphic Design program, created/edited and uploaded the videos, as well as, an excellent trouble- shooter to fix office computer issues. Vanessa is an outstanding instructor in her ability to effectively communicate with her students. She understands that online learning can be more difficult for some students, so she constructed educational videos to help facilitate a better learning environment in her classroom. Additionally, she provides weekly tutoring sessions through live chat. Her online classroom is highly organized and user- friendly. Vanessa's students have praised her teaching efforts on many occasions and it is documented in the excellent reviews she receives at the end of each course. Vanessa's educational background allows me to use her as an instructor for business and computer courses. I feel very fortunate to have such a superior individual as one of my instructors. She is perceptive, empathic and committed to every task she undertakes. In the seven years that I have worked at Trumbull Business College, I have never encountered a more capable or hard-working instructor.
