The first three years I worked mainly in the on-line section, where created special projects based on data visualizations, having been a pioneer at Folha with what is conventionally called data-driven Journalism. The two main projects of that time is “Radar da violência”, an application that points where there is an increase or decrease of crime in Sao Paulo city, and Raio-X das escolas”, which provides basic information about all the schools of Brazil, like federal evaluation and approval rates. In 2012 I joined the print edition team and started to participate in the coverage of important events, such as trials of major crime cases, the protests of 2013 and the Fifa World Cup in 2014 (focused on infrastructure). I am responsible for urban mobility coverage (traffic and transport), but I also write reports about the main education and crime indicators. Trainee at Folha de S.Paulo March 2009 – June 2009 I was selected among 3,000 candidates for the 47 th trainee program of the best- selling newspaper in Brazil. The program has become a reference in Journalism in the country, having been responsible for the training of more than 600 journalists in 25 years. With 11 other young colleagues, I spent 16 weeks doing exercises and taking intensive lessons about Law, Economics, History and Politics. The final task of the program was a special issue about the challenges of mental health in Brazil. Intern producer at EPTV (local station of Globo TV in Campinas,SP) January 2008 – December 2008 I was selected among 200 applicants for an internship at the local station of Rede Globo, the largest television network in Brazil. I went through all the stages of news production on TV, from fact checking to editing. I produced daily reports for the local news show and also special stories for national broadcast. In that time, I covered the 40 th Congress of the Brazilian Scientific Society (SBPC).
