Analog Design Engineer East-Flanders Our client is a premier supplier of high performance silicon solutions for energy efficient electronics. The company’s broad portfolio of power and signal management, logic, discrete and custom devices. Position Description To design integrated circuits for industrial applications, such as smart metering (smart grid, wired communication, flow metering) and energy safety & management (industrial breakers, thermal protection, battery management), To translate the needs of the marketing team or of the customer into a design specification, To contribute to the architecture definition, perform the block level design and simulation, and contribute to the top level integration and mixed mode verification using state of the art CAD tools, advanced libraries and methods, To conduct the IC validation and characterization and support the validation by the test engineer and the customer or application engineer, Throughout the project, he/she will work closely together with colleagues from the production, design, test and application engineering departments to produce high quality solutions. Position Requirements MSc or PhD in engineering, electronic engineering, Preferred 3+ years of analog design experience, Expertise in CMOS design is preferable (operational amplifiers, filters, AD and DA converters...), High Voltage (40V+) analog IC design experience is an asset, Knowledge of standard CAD tools and analog design methodology is an asset, Strong motivation for technical challenges, Team player with good communication skills, Fluency in English is a must as you will work in an international environment.
