IP Exchange VoIP Gateway is for communications providers who originate VoIP calls and have their own soft switch (Call Manager). It is designed for providers with no VoIP or TDM gateway and those who wish to deliver VoIP traffic to the PSTN as ‘native VoIP’. BT Wholesale acts as a trusted third party, offering a one-to-many interface and the benefit of financial settlement services for call termination – a market leading facility. FEATURES IP EXCHANGE VOIP GATEWAY ‣ breaks out from VoIP to TDM for calls terminating on BT or third party PSTN, mobile and international networks via C7 interconnect arrangements and via extensive PSTN interconnection to all mobile and any international destination ‣ breaks in to VoIP from BT or third party PSTN, mobile and international networks; this may require you to establish or amend routing requirements with other UK PECN operators ‣ provides VoIP to VoIP calling between IP Exchange customers’ VoIP networks ‣ provides access to BT’s emergency service ‣ provides international and mobile access NUMBERING ‣ supports 01/02 geographic, 055, 056, 07xx, 08xx codes, BT hosted 1xx information services, optional access to BT’s emergency access, 09xx and 070 (PNS) codes can be made available on an individual negotiated basis BT can host your own range of numbers allocated by Ofcom on the PSTN or we can provide a sub allocation of a BT allocated number range. ENUM ‣ private ENUM database that will be populated with E164 records as part of establishing service ACCESS TO IP EXCHANGE A range of options for connection to IP Exchange are available either with or without resilience. These include: ‣ via the internet ‣ direct connection via BT’s Colossus IP network, using BT Net Access ‣ direct connection via Neutral Access Points (NAP) in Telehouse North, London and Telecity Manchester.
