About HRMs Heart Rate Monitors are designed to
continously measure and record the Heart Rate.
Require a Heart strap ( transmitter ) which wirelessly connects to a wrist device ( receiver )
Both are often paired to avoid cross interference
Is normally ECG accurate
About GPS
Global Positioning system is a collection of 31 satellites in orbit.
At any given point in the earth there would be continous coverage of 4 or more and upto 10 satellites.
Each satellite continuously transmits Precise time signal Precise orbital information
About GPS - 2 With the above information, we can
derive Exact position ( upto 3 meters ) Exact time
All other data is derived data such as Distance Speed Maps Routes and POIs
