An Incredible Prom

Last Friday, Year 11 celebrated the end of mocks with their prom. The girls were very excited by this and

we spent the day discussing dresses, hair and nails. The evening itself was amazing with a photo-booth

and delicious food (some of which was provided by Rhianna’s dad – thanks Mr Patel!) to make it even

more special.

We enjoyed dancing and singing along with the music with a slideshow of pictures of the year in the

background. It was very memorable, especially when the teachers joined us on the dance floor to

celebrate with us. It was great to see everyone dressed up beautifully and relaxing and letting off steam

after our hard work during mocks week. We all felt very fortunate as a year group to have been treated to

such an incredible prom. I’m sure we will remember it for years to come.

We would like to thank Mrs Beck for her superb organisation of this event, especially for all the time and

effort she devotes to it; also Mr Bishop, Mrs Webb, Ms Kelly, Mr Thorpe and Ms Nowitzke for coming

along on the night.

Thanks also to Croydon High alumna Nicola C for being Mrs Beck’s assistant and to Sienna L and

Shermya M for being our prom representatives. Finally to Aleeya L for organising the photobooth and

Yasmin L for taking photographs. For everyone in Year 11 - it was such an amazing night – thank you for

making this memorable evening possible.
