AN EARLY GRADES PROGRAM THAT ENSURES IMPROVEMENT IN STUDENT LEARNING IGNITE!
Many children in India are not learning. Only 30% of
class 3 students can read class 2 text or solve simple
subtraction. We have understood the root cause for this
to be the lack of tools, training, support and motivation
for teachers, and lack of parent engagement.
Ignite! is an integrated early grades program for KG to
class 3 that ensures improvements in student learning.
Our program addresses all aspects of school
improvement, from training to tools and materials.
We do this through:
1. Individualised training and support for every teacher
2. World class curriculum and tools
3. Student and teacher level data analysis
4. Continuous communications with SLs and parents
IGNITE! IS CUSTOMISED FOR YOUR SCHOOL’S NEEDS.
We train and support the teachers with content and
general pedagogy to be prepared for the class once
every 2 weeks. In these visits, we conduct classroom
observations, conduct sample assessments, and
provide immediate feedback to teachers.

We create a world class curriculum in Math and
English for KG to Class 3. This includes class and
homework books for students, and teachers
guides with lesson plans. The curriculum is
mapped to state/CBSE curriculum.

We collect and analyse baseline, midline, and
endline data for a sample set of students.
This is used to provide feedback and updates
to teachers and School Leaders, and to keep
refining the program.

ABOUT 321 EDUCATION FOUNDATION

low-income communities in Mumbai. Our experience in running
