Reptiles are a group of animals that breathe air.

Their bodies are cold-blooded

They have scales on their bodies and they lay eggs.

They do not require as much food as warm-blooded animals.

They don´t have metamorphosis.

They look like a miniature adult when they are born.

Reptiles usually have four limbs, but some reptiles have no limbs like the

snake. Scales are made of keratin, skin is found under the scales.

They have leathery eggs laid on land or they keep eggs in their bodies until

they hatch.

Their reproduction includes internal fertilization.

Reptiles have scales wich act as a sort of armor to physically defend their

body.
