What is the problem?

o A study published in 2010 estimates that 600 billion pounds of plastic waste was generated in coastal countries1.

o Approximately 80% of the plastic polluting our oceans comes from land based sources1.

o Envision’s 16 year history of product commercialization and technical expertise provides a platform for creating sustainable, reliable resins that meet the performance needs of our customers and meaningfully engage end consumers.

o Envision Plastics, with help from our corporate partners, is committed to removing 10 million pounds of plastic at-risk of polluting our oceans over the next 2 years.

Beach & ocean clean ups are great…Unfortunately, they are not scalable or sustainable enough to create a viable supply

chain.

Our approach is to “Take it Out BEFORE It Goes In”by innovating the supply chain.

By working directly with at-risk communities Envision can identify and upcycle mismanaged materials to create a

usable product.

Envision’s OceanBound Plastic Manifesto

What is Envision’s OceanBound Plastic?

Plastic obtained from Qualified Partners and verified as originating in the At-Risk Zone meets Envision’s criteria as OceanBound Plastic source material.

Envision has combined supply chain experience with technical expertise and patented processes to transform plastic at-risk of polluting our oceans into a reliable resin, OceanBound Plastic.

OceanBound Plastic’s versatility allows it to be used as is, or further processed into the many proprietary products Envision offers including, PRISMA® and Deodorized Resin™.

What makes a Partner qualified?

Has access to mismanaged coastal waste1 that is at-risk of polluting our oceans.

Satisfies the rigorous Envision Verification Process that includes regular recertification through the proprietary scorecard and on-site inspections.

The scorecard includes criteria to confirm our partners are good corporate citizens.

Once in partnership, Envision offers our expertise to improve collection methods, material handling best practices and community outreach.

Defining OceanBound Plastic

Envision Plastics’ criteria for OceanBound Plastic source material is based on scientific findings. Envision Plastics will work with Qualified Partners around the world to collect and

ship source materials to the U.S. for cleaning, processing and upcycling.

21

Envision Plastics’ criteria for OceanBound Plastic source material is based on the scientific findings.

“Scaling by the population living within 50km of the coast (those likely to generate most of the waste becoming marine debris), we estimate that 99.5 million metric tons (MT) of plastic waste was generated

in coastal regions in 2010. Of this, 31.9 million MT were classified as mismanaged and an estimated 4.8 to 12.7 million MT entered the ocean in 2010, equivalent to 1.7 to 4.6% of the total plastic waste

generated in those countries.”1 Envision defines the “At-Risk Zone” as the area within 50km of a coast line. The area determined to be the great risk of generating land based marine debris.

OceanBound Plastic Supply Chain

Envision’s OceanBound Plastic is a sustainable product, made from plastic at-risk of entering

our oceans.

Products and packaging made with OceanBound Plastic can be recycled in

most municipal recycling streams.

23

Consumer EngagementEnvision Will Partner with Qualified Suppliers

Envision has created a comprehensive guide to help at-risk communities implement a robust, mutually beneficial process to collect and ship OceanBound

Plastic source material to Envision processing facilities. These guidelines focus on ensuring everyone benefits from the process,

including Envision customers and ultimately the local communities.
