FROM THE PUBLISHER ...Finally it is here. The long awaited debut of American Bombs Magazine. AA magazine devoted to bombitas, the cars from the past that no one has forgotten and a few dedicated men and women have devoted themselves to restore to either original condition or their unique blend of customization to where only their imagi-nations can take them. Anyone familiar with the custom car scene can see that some of these imaginations are out of this world. The long hours of searching on the internet, the many miles spent walking the swap meets, the unimaginable amount of hours spent in the garage are all worth it when you see these masterpieces as they rollroll through the streets or on full display for all to admire. A bomb is no easy build, while some souls get a lucky chance like some of the owners in our featured rides in this issue did.

Headaches, divorces, marriages, it all happens when taking the time needed to fulfill ones dream of owning a pre 1954 vehicle, and it doesn’t matter if it’s flawless or the floor boards are rusted, it doesn’t matter if there is no trim on the car or if it has a fully engraved under carriage, one thing is for sure, the owners and their families are devoted to the love and patience needed to partake in restoring and owning a “pre-cold war” rolling beauty.

SoSo we here at American Bombs Magazine promise to bring you some of the nicest bombs out there, the events where these vintage vehicle owners congregate to show off their toys, and anything else that could be related to that era and type of car and truck. A bomb is a beast in itself, an entirely different entity, something not to be taken lightly, and we are here to put them into pictures and stories that everyone can enjoy. It’s been a long time since people had to place cinder blocks in their trunks to lower their sedans for that low and slow look as they crawled along the streets attractingattracting attention from everyone. A new breed of bombs has been seen lately with a cross over to electronics and gadgets to make it more comfortable for those long cruises and for extra points on the show circuit. Still the builders haven’t forgotten the essence of a bomb; it’s hard to find accessories that make each car as unique as the last one.

We hope you enjoy the premier issue of American Bombs Magazine as much as we had fun meeting the owners, taking part in the events, and shooting the various bombs and trucks you see in this issue.
