Why did we do this?
Not “one more thing” for teachers to add to their already FULL platter.
Looking at state standards to imbed books into current curriculum (Language Arts, Health, Science, Social Studies)
Keep books curriculum related in case of parent concern
Natural transition from aMaze book discussion to curricular area
