N0 Item Discriptions
1. MCB (MINIATURE CIRCUIT BREAKER) rated current not more than 100 A. Trip
characteristics normally not adjustable.
Thermal or thermal-magnetic operation.
Breakers illustrated above are in this
category.
2. RESIDUAL CURRENT CIRCUITBREAKER(RCCB)
Residual Current Circuit Breaker (RCCB), is
an electrical wiring device that disconnects a
circuit whenever it detects that the electric
current is not balanced between the
energized conductor and thereturnneutral conductor. Such an imbalance
is sometimes caused by current leakage
through the body of a person who is
grounded and accidentally touching the
energized part of the circuit.
A lethal shock can result from these
conditions. RCDs are designed to
disconnect quickly enough to mitigate the
harm caused by such shocks although they
are not intended to provide protection
against overload or short-circuit conditions.3. NEUTRAL LINK It is a joint in the neutral connection that can
be opened
essentially it's for testing purposes only.

4. KILOWATT-HOUR METER
is a device that measures the amount
ofelectrical energy consumed by
a residence,business, or an electrically
powered device.Electric meters are typically
calibrated in billing units, the most common
one being the kilowatt hour. Periodic
readings of electric meters establishes billingcycles and energy used during a cycle.
5. MAIN SWITCH is used to make sure that an electrical circuit
can be completely de-energized for service
or maintenance. MAIN switches are used in
electrical substations to allow isolation ofapparatus such as circuit breakers and
transformers , and transmission lines, for
maintenance
6. 1 WAY SWITCH A simple on-off switch: The two terminals
are either connected together or
disconnected from each other. An example isa light switch.
7. 2 WAY SWITCH A simple changeover switch: C (COM,
Common) is connected to L1 or to L2.

8. INTERMEDIATE SWITCH DPDTswitch internally wired for polarity-
reversal applications: only four rather than
six wires are brought outside the switch
housing; with the above, B is connected to F
and C to E; hence A is connected to B and D
to C, or A is connected to C and D to B.
9. FUSE a device used in electrical systems to
protect against excessive current.
10. FAN REGULATOR Regulates the electrical currents for house
fan.it can regulates from minimum to the
maximum capasities of current that the fan
motor can handle.some fan regulator have
setup by a number of speed depend of its
motor
11. OUTLET SOCKETS 13A for removably connecting electrically
operated devices to the power
supply.An electric plug connects
mechanically to a matching socket. Usually
plugs are movable connectors, and sockets
are fixed to equipment.

12. MOUNTING BOX Are use for mounting many accessories in
electrical installation. Many accessories for
electrical instal are designed to fit into the
mounting boxes defined in BS 5733:1995 -
Specification for general requirements for
electrical accessories, with an
86 mm86 mm square face plate that is fixedto the rest of the enclosure by
two M3.5 screws (typ. 25 mm or 40 mm
long) located on a horizontal center line,
60.3 mm apart. Double face plates for BS
5733 boxes measure 147 mm86 mm and
have the two screws 120.6 mm apart.lations
(e.g., wall sockets, switches)
13. END BOX End box can be use for mounting electrical
installation such as lamp holder, its also use
for storing excess cables for further use.
14. SPRING CLIP SADDLE The spring clip saddle is use for clipping pvc
pipe.its a middle jointer between walls and
pipes.
15. LAMP HOLDER A device which mechanically supports a lampfor the purposes of making electrical contact
with the lamp.

16. DISTRIBUTION BOARD A distribution board (or panelboard) is a
component of an electricity supply system
which divides an electrical power feed into
subsidiary circuits, while providing a
protective fuse or circuit breaker for each
circuit, in a common enclosure
17. DISTRIBUTION FUSE BOX Smaller than distribution board, fuse box is
use for containing RCCB,MCB,Main
Switch,Neutral link and etc..,
18. COMBINATION PLIERS a type ofpliers used by electricians and
other tradesmen for gripping small objects,
to cut and bend wire and cable
19. SCREWDRIVER is a tool for driving screws and rotatingother machine elements with the mating
drive system. The screwdriver is made up of
a head or tip, which engages with a screw,
a mechanism to apply torque by rotating the
tip, and some way to position and support
the screwdriver

20. HAMMER A hammer is a tool meant to deliver an
impact to an object. The most common uses
are for driving nails, fitting parts, forging
metal and breaking up objects
21. GIMLET A gimlet is a hand tool for drilling small
holes, mainly in wood, without splitting
22. CABLE CUTTER Diagonal pliers (or wire cutters or diagonal
cutting pliers) are pliers intended for
the cutting ofwire (they are generally not
used to grab or turn anything)
23. TEST PEN An electrical tester pen , test pen, or voltagedetector is a device for quickly checking
whether a conductor is live. The device may
have the form of a screwdriver. The tip of
the device is touched to the conductor being
tested (for instance, it can be used on a wire
in a switch or inserted into a hole of
an electric socket)

24. DRILL A drill or drill motor is a tool fitted with a
rotating cutting tool, usually a drill bit, used
for drilling holes in various materials. The
cutting tool is gripped by a chuck at one end
