Child Care Internship in Spring - Christ University, India Ingvild Moen Stokvold A visit to the Taj Mahal Auto-rickshaw ride In spring semester 2012, I and three other girls from my study programme travelled to India to undergo an internship in the city of Bangalore. Through Christ University, I gained an opportunity to work with several organizations: centers for street children, self-help groups for women, HIV center for children and in the process got to see their initiatives for vulnerable groups of people. I also travelled a great deal, and got to see the magnificent Taj Mahal! In addition I also had a wonderful Easter holiday in Goa. Studying abroad is the best choice I have made and I would recommend it to anyone who has the opportunity.
