Description

The BSC calculates the number of times one-way audio occurs. When the number exceeds the value ofSpeech Channel Alarm Threshold (default value !"# within a $ne-Way %ute Alarm &eportin' eriod

(default value )" minutes#* A+%-,!! BSS /nternal 0oice Channel Abnormal is 'enerated.

The alarm is cleared when the number of times one-way audio occurs returns to below the value ofSpeech Channel Alarm Clearance Threshold (default value )# within a $ne-Way %ute Alarm &eportin'eriod.

$ne-way audio in the uplin1 is detected by the 23CS subsystem of the BSC. /f the 23CS subsystemfinds that the bad frame rate exceeds the value of 4xceptional 5rame Threshold of %ute 6etect Class!(default value ,7#* the BSC sends a one-way audio AC89:AC8 messa'e to the BTS. /f the BSC receivesa one-way audio AC8 messa'e from the BTS* the BSC confirms the occurrence of one-way audio.

$ne-way audio in the downlin1 is detected by the BTS. /f the BTS detects one-way audio in the downlin1*it sends a one-way audio AC89:AC8 messa'e to the BSC. /f the BTS receives a one-way audio AC8messa'e from the BSC* the BTS confirms the occurrence of one-way audio.

/f one-way audio occurs* the BSC records the information about the resources occupied by a call in avoice channel fault detection lo'. The resources are the BTS* cell* carrier* channel* 23CS subsystem*as well as the A* Abis interfaces. The detection scope does not entail the data sent from the &5 units to%Ss and from the 23CS subsystem to the C:.
