Dear parishioners: In one of the Easter songs in Spanish we find the following phrase: "The Lord has been great, Jesus was raised, with Mary, his brothers, they understood what happened... Glory be to the Lord." Personally, I believe that as All Saints Parish we can make those words our own, because the Lord has really been great. We have had the blessing of living a wonderful week, not only because of the beauty and depth in its theological and liturgical content, but because it has been a beautiful community feast, we have experienced the presence of the Holy Spirit, we have lived as one community, in different

languages and traditions, the resurrection of the Lord. On behalf of Father Chris, Deacons Peter and Nicolás, all the staff who work in the parish and myself, we want to say to all our volunteers: thank you very much, you all have done an extraordinary and wonderful job. We want you to know that the beauty of the past Holy Week has undoubtedly been a blessing from God, but also a blessing that would not have been possible without the tireless work of all of you, from those who participated with the songs, the readers, the ushers, the youth who led the Living Stations, to those who decorated the church and cleaned it so that we could all enjoy these celebrations; we are very grateful to you.

I would also like to thank the All Saints Parish Staff for their magnificent work. I truly believe that all of them deserve a great applause from the entire parish community for the enormous effort and work carried out during these days. In a special way, we thank Father Chris, our Pastor, for preparing this very important celebration, and for leading us through it: thank you very much. Looking to the future, I believe we should pray to Lord, so we can imitate that first community in its enthusiasm and joy, and I am sure that, with the presence of the Holy Spirit, All Saints Parish will be a living and dynamic community in which we all will have the experience of God in our lives. Queridos hermanos: En uno de los cantos para el tiempo de Pascua encontramos la siguiente frase: “El Señor ha estado grande, a Jesús resucitó, con María sus hermanos, entendieron que pasó... Gloria al Señor”. Personalmente, creo que como parroquia podemos hacer propias esas palabras, porque, realmente el Señor ha estado grande. Hemos tenido la bendición de vivir una semana maravillosa, no solo

por la belleza y profundidad en su contenido teológico y litúrgico, sino porque a nivel parroquial, hemos vivido una verdadera fiesta, hemos experimentado la presencia del Espíritu Santo, hemos vivido como una sola comunidad, en las diferentes lenguas y tradiciones, la resurrección del Señor. A nombre del Padre Chris, de los Diáconos Nicolás y Peter, de todo el personal que trabaja en la parroquia y del mío propio, queremos decir a todos nuestros voluntarios: muchas gracias, todos han hecho un extraordinario trabajo, queremos que sepan que la belleza de esta semana ha sido sin duda una bendición de Dios, pero también una bendición que no hubiera sido posible sin el trabajo incansable de todos ustedes, desde los que participaron con los cantos, los lectores, los ujieres, los jóvenes que dirigieron el Vía Crucis Viviente, hasta los que adornaron el templo e hicieron limpieza para que todos pudiéramos disfrutar estas fiestas; sepan todos que estamos profundamente

We are excited to welcome the newest members of the Church who received their Sacraments at the Easter Vigil! ¡Estamos felices de dar la bienvenida a los nuevos miembros de la Iglesia que recibieron sus sacramentos en la Vigilia Pascual! Temiloluwa Oduntan, Elijah Bonds, Hairry Hernandez, & Xiomary Hernandez

Thank you to the teen parishioners of All Saints Parish who so generously gave of their time, talent and faith while portraying Jesus and His followers in the Living Stations prayer service on Good Friday evening. Many of those watching from home or the congregation were touched by this moving prayer service that connects the Stations of the Cross with life today and how we can enter into a more reverent and intentional connection with Jesus’ suffering and death. This years’ service was dedicated to those who have passed away from COVID-19, their families, the frontline workers and everyone impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, those keeping us safe, healthcare workers and first responders. We would like to especially thank Emily Wilson as the peer youth leader for this ministry. She really stepped up and encouraged the teens to do their best and to allow this service to bring them closer to the Lord. Our parish is blessed to have her as a leader for our Living Stations prayer service. The teens we would like to recognize for their selfless participation are: Carina Archer, Nicholas Castillo, Benjamin Harrington, Cassandra Hubbard, Ashley Lazo-Brito, Jheyder Mendez, Erin O’Neil, Matthew Stevens and Victoria Wilson. Special thanks to Erin O’Neil and Carina Archer for sharing their musical talent as they beautifully played their guitar together during the service. They, along with Ashley Lazo-Brito also sang songs like “Jesus Remember Me”. We would like to thank our seniors, Nicholas Castillo and Erin O’Neil for the many years they have been with us at this prayer service. Consecration to St. Joseph with Deacon Peter

Deacon Peter will be leading a group (open to both men and women) who would like to Consecrate themselves to St. Joseph. The program of preparation and

consecration takes 33 days. It begins April 11th (Divine Mercy Sunday) and ends on May 13th (the Feast Day of Our Lady of Fatima).

Preparation takes about 20-30 minutes a day and includes invocations in the powerful Litany of St. Joseph, followed by a reading on St. Joseph, concluding with the recitation of the Litany of St. Joseph. The group will meet once per week, starting at 7pm on April 11th via Zoom, to track progress and share insights. Deacon Peter will also be available at 4 pm on April 11th in the church following the Divine Mercy Sunday service for those who want to participate live in person. If you miss a day during preparation, you can simply make it up and continue your preparation. If you are interested, please purchase the book Consecration to St. Joseph: The Wonders of Our Spiritual Father by Fr. Donald Calloway at www.consecrationtostjoseph.org/index.html or from Amazon or other Catholic Book store sites. If you have trouble finding the book, please contact Deacon Peter. There will be an opportunity to make the Act of Consecration in person at All Saints following daily Mass on May 13th with Deacon Peter. Anyone who wants to prepare for the Consecration on their own and then join the group on May 13th is more than welcome to do so.
