PERSONALIZATION & EMBROIDERY

Basic Lettering is available in three type styles (block, athletic block and brush script). Lettering is very useful for identifying an apron to a specific department, clinic or individual. Some stock logos are available such as the heart shape below.

Custom Embroidery and Stock Designs - Having your logo or a design will further enhance the product and clearly identifies it to your facility. Each logo must be quoted on individually based on its shape and size. A one time disk setup charge will apply on Custom Embroidery. Stock designs are not subject to any setup charge.

RECYCLING PROGRAM

We will accept and dispose of previously owned UltraRay™ lead aprons for every new apron purchased. For non-UltraRay™ Aprons a $20.00 recycling charge will apply. Bulk recycling is available. Please contact our office for further information and rates.

You may also want to take advantage of our repair program which takes into account the restricted budgets of hospitals and clinics. By repairing existing aprons we are able to effectively half or better the cost of replacement.

WARRANTY - OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU

We are proud to guarantee all our designs for two years against all defects in workmanship and materials.

Our warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accident or neglect. Any product missing date of manufacture label will not be accepted for return. Please contact us for return merchandise authorization.

We will never knowingly disappoint you. If for any reason your order was not fulfilled to your satisfaction please call us within 7 days of receipt so we may address your concerns.

All non-warranty returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Goods must be returned in their original condition and packaging. Contact us within 30 days of receipt to obtain return merchandise authorization. The end user is responsible for return shipping. Products bearing custom embroidery or of custom sizing are non returnable.

REPAIR INFORMATION - REPAIR/RECOVER/RESTYLE

Our repair program was designed with the restricted budgets of hospitals and clinics in mind. By repairing existing aprons we're able to effectively half or better the cost of replacement. This latitude in managing the hospital or clinic's radiation protection budget will help ensure that adequate protection is provided for both staff and patients.

WHAT THE HOSPITAL OR CLINIC HAS TO DO

It is required to thoroughly radiograph the item to ensure no cracks or pin holes appear in the lead vinyl. If defects are close to seams, the item can be downsized by cutting away the affected areas. If this cannot be done we can convert the usable lead vinyl into gonad shields or half-aprons. The quality of lead vinyl beyond visual inspection is the sole responsibility of the customer. Defective areas must be clearly identified with a circle or an X. UltraRay Medical Products is not responsible for the testing and quality control of aprons sent for restyling or repair.

WHAT WE DO Recover and Restyle can include new material and binding (choice of color), new Velcro® plus belt and buckle (where applicable), new shoulder pads, and 1st line embroidery. We examine the item visually and provide you with a price based on the work required. All workmanship and materials (except those supplied by customer) are guaranteed for one year wear and tear. Delivery for aprons in the repair program is four weeks.

All apron repairs must be quoted on a per project basis, please contact us for pricing and return information.

DEPARTMENT IDENTIFICATION

Apart from their esthetic value, it is recommended that colours should be used to identify departments within a hospital unit.

PLUM=O.R / JADE=I.C.U.

A specific colour combined with embroidery unmistakably identifies the apron with the department. At your option, a different colour lining may be chosen to identify size. This is especially important when ordering two-piece special procedure aprons - skirt and vest will never be separated.
