“Find an open-ended user narrative to innovate around, and design an injection molded product, throuspec and feasibility.” -- Craig Milroy, ME318

For me, this came at a very poignant moment in my family’s life, when my father battled cancer; as forgnow take pills every day for the rest of his life.

I looked for the best case scenario for taking medication (with water & food)I looked for moments in a day that were consistent (morning activities)I looked for habits that were already formed (brushing your teeth)

And then I looked at how that injection molding machine works...

The Product Design Student Association was revived this past year, in anattempt to provide services to Product Design students who at times feel lostwithin the cross-disciplinary depths of our studies.

What I had not realized was how difficult it is to get a group of people to actively engage with you, especithemselves understand the principles with which you are trying to convince them. It is difficult to realize yofact, living out the very strategies you apply to your work.
