1) December 2011; Campus Salvaging after the Huge Flood

Thailand’s large construction companies join hands in AIT campus cleaning operations by contributing equipment and manpower for many days. Ch. Karnchang, Italian-Thai Development (ITD), and Ritta companies work together and separately. These were under coordination by Thai Alumni. Note that the President of AITAA-Thailand is a VP of ITD. (The upper picture shows ITD’s truck with Ch. Karnchang’s worker, a very rare case of rivals joining hands.)

7) Sponsoring Special Publication on AIT Day 2010 (7th September 2010)

AITAA-Thailand helped AIT in making the special publication.

Normally the host like AIT would let the newspaper manage solicitation of sponsors upon the lists of business counterparts given. In that respect, the advertisement would occupy half of the total space. But AITAA-Thailand took over the sponsoring campaign by taking sponsorship from business firms managed by Thai Alumni only. By this way the advertisement occupied only 1/8 of the space and it was a good PR for AIT having alumni in big business enterprises.
