“Hope lies in dreams, in imagination, and in the courage of those who dare to make dreams into reality.”

Jonas Salk

Dear Applicants,

I would like to warmly welcome you among those courageous people, who are taking the first step to be part of the Member Committee of AIESEC in Hungary for

the term 2015-2016, who are willing to drive a country toward fulfilling its ambitions and starting a new era in the history of AIESEC in Hungary.

Being an MC is unique experience – full of opportunities to create, to build, to change, to make a difference. An experience where you have to be at your best and

perform beyond your limits, regardless if you are in the front where everyone see you, or in the back where people don’t know what you are doing, because you

are the one who show direction in good and bad times, you are the one who create the environment for more than 400 people, where people can fulfill their own

leadership potential.

Being an MC in AIESEC in Hungary is even more unique. A country that is full of untapped potential for growth, 43 years of history with traditions and a unique

culture that is driven by performance, persistence and passion for standing out. It is an experience of mystery, doubts, trials, errors, struggles, and sometimes

rewards. An experience where you really learn to trust your guts and rely on a team who are strangers at the beginning, but with whom you grow up together to

be capable of building the AIESEC in Hungary that further generations needs.

Some may ask, does it still worth it? From the last 43 years, only 193 people could answer this question with full credibility, who took the courage and shaped

AIESEC in Hungary for our generation. Are you ready to be part of this special community? Are you ready to show the true potential of AIESEC in Hungary?

With this in mind, I want to congratulate you on your decision, and wish you a successful election process!

Financial Compensation MC Compensation

The compensation in MC Hungary is based on modularity, which means that from the amount for MC compensations defined in the budget, those can earn more, who have higher expenses or less amount of financial income from out of AIESEC, this is especially true for internationals whose living here is supported more.

In general, the average is 50. 000 HUF, which is not enough to live in Budapest (for internationals, it is different case), so you should consider other kind of financial resources (family, scholarships).

The exact salaries are decided by the MC team, based on individual cash-flow plans of the MC members. Payment is usually in the first week of the month.

Conference finances: Delegate fee and travel fee for conferences, where the presence of the MC is required, are supported by MC Hungary. Apart from that, no other costs are covered (visa, insurance, public transport, global village, other spending) If you consider the not-covered costs, an international conference can cost you app. 35 000 HUF.
