FOCUS AND AIM FOR THE PORTFOLIO

SCALING UP GCDP OPERATIONS

Page 22: AIESEC in Ethiopia l MC Gursha National Framework

HOW?

Page 23: AIESEC in Ethiopia l MC Gursha National Framework

• EDUCATING AND TRAINING FOR THE VP iGCDPs and PROJECT MANAGERS/TEAMLEADERS(RECEPTION TEAM etc…)- training the current responsibles of the various roles to be vexed with their JDs will go along way to improve the way and manner the GCDP portfolio works

• INCREASE THE NUMBER OF NGO BASED PROJECTS TO RAISE THE FIGURE- looking at the rate projects in the entity is being poorly managed, working with NGOs as TN takers so as to supply them with EPs will be a great way to retain and keep the ICX department active at all times whiles we work on improving our project quality and implementations.

• RAISING EPs for TNs AT A FEE- A way to financially sustain the other ends of GCDP is to raise EPs for companies and NGOs at a fee. This will help get money to support the LC based projects and also bring some monies into the entity’s cofers

• CREATION OF NATIONAL PROJECT TO ADDRESS NATIONAL ISSUES-there is going to be a national project that is going tackle a National threatening issue. Main issue identified is “STREET CHILDREN”. This project will let AIESEC gain recognition in the Ethiopian community as a “caring” organization and will open up opportunities to other companies and organizations.
