I know THAT! But what TIME should I get there?

Sign-In opens at 8:30 for turning in contributions. There’s an aerobic warm-up at 9:00 and the OpeningCeremony starts at 9:15. The Walk begins at 10:00!

WHERE is AIDS Walk Los Angeles?

The event is staged in and around WEST HOLLYWOOD PARK.

Yes! You should enter at Melrose Avenue and San Vicente.

What if it rains :( !?

If you raise $150 to $249 you get the AIDS Walk Los Angeles T-shirt. And if youraise $250 to $499, you get the T-shirt AND a baseball cap.If you raise $500 to $999 you get the T-shirt,the cap, and a cool tumbler – like they sell atthe coffee shops.If you raise $1,000 you are a Star Walker.

STAR WALKER?????

A STAR Walker is someone who tries to raise $1,000. If they reach their goal, they get all the awards, +a special STAR WALKER picture frame.

That’s not all! They are admitted into theexclusive Star Walker Breakfast, and get afundraising crown to wear all day.

Go directly to the Green Walker Sign-In Area at Melrose Avenue and San Vicente Boulevard for an express check-in. You can pick up your fundraising awards there, too!

First, you go to the SIGN-IN AREA to turn in all your pledges. THEN you can go to theteams area to meet your Team Members.

Where should I go if I am a member of a GOLD TEAM?

Go directly to the “Gold Teams Sign-In” tablesat the Pacific Design Center Plaza, on San Vicente Boulevard.

What should I bring with me to Sign-In?

Bring your Sponsor Form (please total both columns),your on-line contribution report (if you have one),and ALL the contributions you have collected.

Where should I go if I am a member of a TEAM?

Yum! Where does AIDS WALK Los Angeles end?Yep! If you are a GREEN WALKER and a member of aGOLD TEAM, there will be express check-in and awarddistribution at the “Gold Teams Sign-In” tables.

Where should I go if I am a STAR WALKER?

Star Walkers who have raised $1,000 or more go directly to the “Star Walker Sign-In” tables on the topfloor of the West Hollywood Park/Library Parking Garage at 625 N. San Vicente Boulevard.

BTW, how long is AIDS WALK LOS ANGELES?

10 kilometers.

? I’m not European. What’s that in miles?

LOL! 6.2 miles!

What’s that in hours? Does it take all day!?

I’ll get hungry in 2½ hours. Will there be munchies there?

Oh yes, there are four checkpoints set up along the route. Water, juice, fruit, yogurt, chips, and many other delicious donated products will be served all day long.

In the same place it began. The route circles throughthe streets of West Hollywood and Los Angeles, with a finish line on San Vicente Boulevard.

Clever!

And…at the finish line, you’ll get your Certificate of Completion.

Sounds like a great day!

AIDS Walk LOS ANGELES wants everyone to be safe. Roller blades and skate-boards are discouraged on the10K route. Sunscreen and hats are highly recommended.Before bringing pets, think carefully about safety,control, and heat.
