February 15th - No School, President's Day•

Congratulations to the middle school students who competed at the Northern Region MS Optimist Club Brain Bowl.

This was our 4th year in the competition and the first time that we had a team qualify to go on to the State

Competition! Also, a big thanks to the coaches Fran Covelli, Josh Gibbs and Jeff Everett.

The District Accountability Committee will meet on February 24. The agenda is not

Colorado Shines – In Numbers

Childcare providers by “Colorado Shines” rating are as follows:

Wiggins Preschool will be submitting our application in February to

apply for a Level 5 Rating.

Preschool Staff are working diligently to prepare the evidence and data

required to prove Wiggins Preschool is providing a quality setting for

children and families.

Section 3: Scope of Services. Candidate has affirmed each of the Owners requirements for this project

and demonstrates a clear understanding of Owner's needs and clear direction toward completing scope

of work.

Section 4: Schedule. Ability to complete the planning tasks within the timeframe needed. Submitted

complete & understandable schedule.

25 points

Section 5: References. Candidate has provided a comprehensive project list with contact information for

projects completed over the last five years.

Request for Qualifications

ALL RFQ’s have been turned in, committee has met and short listed the potential companies. Interviews will be held tomorrow for top three candidates to create Wiggins School District 50J Master Plan. A Master Plan is a comprehensive long range plan intended to guide growth and development. It includes analysis, recommendations, and proposals incorporating: the State Facilities Assessment, economy, housing, transportation, community facilities, and land use. It is based on Owner input, surveys, planning initiatives, existing development, physicalcharacteristics, and social and economic conditions;

Roadway Safety Solutions, LLC owned by the Bodine Family donated $5,000 to the

elementary school to purchase a Chrome Book station.

The MS/HS Band Department received a $2,500 grant from the Monsanto Fund as

part of the America's Farmers Grow Communities project. A local community

member submitted the grant request.
