What social groups was I aiming to represent?

Gender- Men and Women

Musical interest- pop/rock/indie

Gender • I have chosen to represent both

male and females as I feel that my magazine can cater for both genders however it is more aiming to the edge of women mainly because my main cover story is more girly, though it centres around females the captions’ now riding solo’ may intrigue the males to find out why she is riding solo and whether she is interested in someone new

Age • My age range is between

16-30. With the use of my surveys it came to my attention that the younger magazine readers prefer a bit of mayhem and busyness throughout the magazine, so I decided to create a fun, quirky, busy contents page .

Musical Interests With the use of my surveys, I came to learn that pop/rock/indie music is mainly what the age I have chosen to base my magazine listen too. To show that my magazine caters for them certain music interests I have chosen to feature a band strand to the right of my contents page to show what bands feature throughout my magazine. I have also featured a very famous rock chick solo artist on the cover of my magazine.
