The principle objective of Aerodrome India 2012 was to provide a platform to

related services from around the world with Airport Authorities, Airlines &

associated industry professionals in India and the South Asian region. This

platform was conceived to facilitate the conversion of the enormous potential

in the Indian Civil Aviation sector into business.

Having moved away from the concept of stand-alone technical Seminars, Aerodrome India 2012 incorporated a Business Forum

model for the 2012 edition involving the Airport Authorities, the Policy Makers and Airlines Heads. The forum was organised by

Magazine.

The forum included over 40 speakers (both National & International) and more than 150 delegates participating. The Business

Forum addressed subjects such as Airline & Airport Management, Airport Commercial Revenues, Building Regional Airports,

Airport / Airline Synergy, Cargo Terminal Operations & Handling & ended with the COO Conclave on Airport Operations;

the 2 day Business Forum also included a Presentation Series on Systems, IT & Communication.

The exhibition was held in Mumbai as it is the business hub of India and therefore had a specific purpose of ensuring a

representative visitor profile consisting of not just the decision-makers from the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Airports Authority of

India and the Airline Community, but also the other targeted avenues of the Aviation Industry, most of whom are based in and

around Mumbai, to visit the exhibition. Aerodrome India 2012 saw more than 1100 visitors.
