What is the advert?The advert is of a man in an office, who goes to proceed down a waterslide, purchasing items quickly with his credit card, as he continues his journey through shops.

The advert is advertising the touch and go method that barclays bank had recently installed, showing this method of payment was quick and efficient, suiting the lifestyle of working office employees.

What is the form?The form of this advert is anti-realism for the fairly obvious point that nothing like this would ever happen in real life. Although this works in favour for it since it creates a memorable advertisement for the company that people will remember.

Waterslide appThis advert has also been made into an app, that is available for the public to download for free, on the app store for iPhone and iPad. It is also available to download onto Android phones.

What is the message of the advert?

Barclays made this advert to promote their new contactless payment technology. In the advert the character uses their new payment method while traveling on the slide. The company also held a contest for people to create their own videos of waterslides with the winner getting to go on a trip to the top 5 waterslides in the world.

needs. When one need us fulfilled a person seeks to fulfil the next one

experiences.
