it being preferred by Djs in the 1980 which was the target audience. But know 35 years ahead Sony has seen off many

competitors such as Sansui ss 100 who as massive in the 1980 but failed to last the test of time.

In 2015 Sony biggest competitors are beats by Dr Dre And Sms audio, these headphones are hard to compete with due to the

Sony Headphones had a narrow target audience in the 1980 due it mainly aimed at Djs. But as the years went on the tried to expand their target audience by starting to aim teens from the age of 13-18 due to music being more portable and teenagers mostly listen to music on the go.

Target audience B

A man is running late for work. He checks his phone as he’s running into the station and sees that he

has a bunch of missed calls.

He then bumps into someone as he’s running into the station and drops his briefcase which then

scatters his work everywhere.

He is then seen running inside the station and quickly getting on his train. He then takes out his Sony Headphones and slowly becomes entranced

by the music.

We then transition to him in a very quiet park, almost as if the music has put him at peace (even

with all the problems going on around him).
