Situated on 640 grassy acres in the rolling, wooded hills ofWisconsin’s Kettle Moraine is Road America, aninternationally-known motorsports complex. With one of thecountry’s longest road racing circuits, this world-acclaimedfacility has been hosting motorsports events and enthusiastssince 1955.
But, more than just a day at the races, Road America o�ers awide range of opportunities for group events of all sizes. Fromsmall events of four participants to massive events, we’recon�dent in our ability to provide you with a program that �tsyour budget while exceeding your expectations.

ROAD AMERICA FAST FACTS1) Road America stock was �rst o�ered and sold in 1954 with ground breaking for Road America in April of 1955. The �rst race took place in September of 1955. Road America is celebrating its 60th season in 2015.
2) Road America was founded by Mr. Clif Tufte, an engineer by trade. Clif is known historically as “Mr. Road America” and is credited with the dream and vision of the original con�guration including the current site of the circuit.
3) Road America is a corporation with 500 plus stockholders and is guided by a 12 member board of directors. Road America employs 22 full time sta�. The seasonal payroll swells to over 400 during the height of the racing season, June thru August.
4) An independent economic impact survey was commissioned in 2000 by Road America and performed by Lakeland College. Findings of this study show an annual conservative �rst tier economic impact of Road America for Sheboygan County and State of Wisconsin of over 70 million dollars per year.
5) Road America is the fastest permanent road racing circuit in the world. Road America is 4.048 miles in length with 14 turns and multiple elevation changes. Road America is situated on 640 natural acres of rolling hills in Wisconsin’s Kettle Moraine and is known as “America’s National Park of Speed”.
6) Each year from April through October, Road America entertains over 700,000 tourists in addition to competitors at its site in Sheboygan County. Road America hosts over 400 events a year with nine major race weekends.
7) Over the past 50 years, Road America has helped hundreds of local and Midwest charities through donations and fundraising opportunities. For example, the Road America walk/run event has generated over 2.5 million dollars for the American Cancer Society over the past 30 years.
8) 2010 marked the return of NASCAR to Road America when the NASCAR Nationwide Series made its inaugural appearance at the famed 4 mile circuit. 100,000 people attended and 1.4 million watched the event on television.
9) Road America’s newest initiative is to become an incentive destination for corporate events and experiences - hosting group events from as small as 4 to as large as 1000.
10) Road America’s mission statement: To develop a year-round facility and programs that will provide the best motorsport and entertainment experience for all of our customers”.

Indoor meeting space is complimentary before or after any of the adventure programs. Ourracing themed space can easily accommodate groups up to 80. Audio/Visual equipment isavailable for a small rental fee.

pantsare given general information about the facility’s design and usage, and the events and activities it hosts. This tour is a great addition to any Adventure Program.
The Behind the Scenes Tour explains the infrastructure of Road America and what it takes to host a large racing event. The group will visit the VIP Tower which is the facility’s heart of race day operations. Guests will view Race Control with its
Center and VIP Hospitality Suites.

The Incident Protocol & Procedures Demointroduces participants to the RA Safety/Rescue Team and shows them a crash-scene simulation where they learn how the incident response system
site, to race control management and safety team action. The demonstration includes extracting a driver from wreckage using modern vehicle extraction tools. This is a very interesting demonstration which covers the entire safety process from A to Z.
The In-Car/On-Track Tour allows participants the opportunity to drive their own vehicles around RA’sfamous 4-mile road course on a guided tour. Learn thetrack as you are introduced to some of the most famousturns in motorsports. Subject to availability.
The Hayride Tour Explore the scenic grounds ofRoad America from aboard a horse-drawn wagon.This activity is perfect for groups that want to simplyrelax and take it all in. The wagon can accommodate25 adults on average and lasts approximately 1 hour.Travel back in time for a ride that will add to yourfondest memories of Road America.
The All-Access Paddock Tour is conducted in conjunction with any major racing event. Depending onthe event, participants will see everything frompriceless vintage racecars to today’s most advanced twoor four wheel racing machines. This tour can becombined with a short presentation from one of ourparticipating race teams or with your favoriteRoad America event.

Take in Road America’s scenic beauty and glacial terrain from an o� road vehicle! This safe,guided program is great for everyone, from �rst-time riders to experienced o�-roaders.Road America has seven o�-road trails that vary in di�culty. The outing begins with basico� road vehicle training, followed by range exercises. Emphasis is placed on the capabilities ofthe machine, safe speed and operation. Once the basic exercises are complete, the trail ridesbegin. Our experienced guides keep a careful eye on all of the riders to make sure they remaincomfortable with the increasing di�culty of each trail.

Our most popular program begins with a short meet-and-greet session followed by basic instructionby our professional racing instructors. Instruction covers how to get in and out of the karts, how themachine works and the proper line around the track. During the track tour, instructors explainhandling and braking techniques for each corner around the course. Once the tour is complete, theparticipants are split into groups and sent out for on-track sessions utilizing karts capable of speedsnear 40mph. As groups progress through the program the track con�guration changes andparticipants transition to driving purpose built racing karts capable of speeds in excess of 50mph.

Experience a taste of our most popular group adventure programs. Participants use our geocachingadventure program equipment to navigate throughout the facility. Built into this adventure programare two pit stops, each treating participants to a fun and exciting Road America activity. These pit stopsinclude a karting challenge on the Road America Motorplex and the popular champagne slalomactivity where participants get to test their driving skills with one of our driving school vehicles. Thissampler program is sure to leave guests with a lasting impression and a desire to return very soon!

Everyone loves the Olympics and here’s the ultimate program to test your driving skills. High speeddriving skills are put to the test as teams participate in a karting relay race on the Road AmericaMotorplex. Hand and eye coordination are tested as groups also compete in a champagne slalomactivity using provided vehicles. Supermoto is a motorcycle sport that combines the techniques of traditional motocross racing with theskills of professional road racing. Trap shooting is the most popular shotgun shooting sport in the United States with well over one-halfmillion active shooters. This adventure allows you to shoot clay targets thrown from a machine situatedin front of the shooters. There are �ve positions on the trap �eld which is laid out in an arc behind thetrap house. When a round of trap is shot, shooters are usually formed into squads with each shootertaking �ve shots from each of the �ve positions on the �eld. A basic knowledge of �rearms is requiredfor this adventure, but no trap shooting experience is necessary. This adventure includes the usage ofthe trap facility and up to 75 targets per shooter. Shooters are responsible to bring their own �rearmsand ammo. This adventure is a BLAST!
