23.2 Short pixie cut

Party style

You will need: A tail comb, hair spray, hair wax and a decorative hair comb of your choice.

Fix the hair into a side parting and then decide at which point on the head you want to place the

hair comb.

At that point, take the hair between your fingers and sprinkle it on the top and bottom with spray.

This makes the hair easier to grip.

Then, backcomb the sprayed hair, creating a pillow for the comb and push in the hair comb. If it

doesn’t hold securely, repeat the process.

Finally, to accentuate individual strands of hair, add wax in these places.

23.3 Short structured style

Every day style

First blow dry your hair upside down.

Next, knead some wax to the tips.

Control and shape the fringe as you like.

23.4 Androgynous style

Party or every day style

After washing hair, do a sleek side parting.

Apply a generous amount of gel and slide over the hair.

Fix hair behind the ears.

Red lipstick gives the androgynous look feminine traits.

23.5 Shoulder length hair, no fringe

For daytime sophistication:

Brush hair and tie it back in a ponytail.

Twist the hair so it curls around the tie back. Take another tie back and gather the hair into it,

leaving the tips to fall out to give a feathery effect.

Pluck two or three strands loose from the right and left sides of the forehead and shape with gel

and hairspray.

For a party style:

Tie hair in a high ponytail.

When wrapping the hair tie, on the last wrap pull the hair through only half way, so that the hair

ends are turned upright at the top of the head, creating a kind of hair loop.

The next step is to make a bun at the crown.

Loop the hair back upwards ...

... and put it into the parted section of hair at the crown.

The result is a voluminous bun on the upper back of the head. Gently comb around your parting,

so that it is covered with hair.

With a bobby pin fix the hair and at the same time hide the hair tie. Finish with a hair spray with

anti-frizz effect for support and protection from wind and moisture. This is also a great hairstyle

for business.

For everyday:

Do a side parting, backcombing the hair, especially at the ends, and pull slightly.

Pull back the hair at the sides of the face and clip back, leaving the remaining hair to fall softly

around the clipped sections.

Fix with lots of hairspray.

For a faux bob:

While hair is still damp, work in an anti-frizz serum or lotion.

Place hair in a deep side parting. Blow dry hair dry with a round brush. Important: Don’t lose the

resulting volume by brushing out – you need it for pinning under.

Straighten hair with a flat iron from the roots to the ends.

Take the front portion and brush smoothly on the head behind the ears and place there with pins,

right and left. Fix with hairspray.

Now, take the remaining hair and turn under in waves at the neck and pin in position. Take it

piece by piece and turn under to the length of bob you want to create. Hold in place by pinning it

discreetly so the pins do not show.

Once you have pinned all the strands, brush gently over the Faux Bob to fill any gaps.

Use hairspray to fix the look.

23.6 Round bob with feathery contours and side parting

Blow dry hair forward with a paddle brush until it is totally dry.

Add some wax on the ends and comb to the side.

Do a deep side parting.

23.7 Long hair, layered or without layers

Sleek party look

Brush the hair backwards so the length falls over the back.

Both on the right and left sides take a section of hair of about 2cm width.

Brush the hair lengths smooth and spray the roots well with hairspray.

Hold these strands in a clamp.

Take the rest of the hair in small sections, spray well with hairspray and smooth well with a brush.

Repeat these steps until the whole head of hair is smooth and sleek.

Take a wide hair clasp and gather the hair into this at the nape of the neck.

Loosen the clamp from the hair strand you took from the left side and twirl the strand into a cord.

Clip this behind the head with a bobby pin.

Repeat this with the strand from the right.

French plait for every day or party

Brush through the hair well, so it‘s nice and smooth.

Part a section of hair at the top and front of the head.

Secure the end with a hair tie. It forms the central strand of the braid.

Divide up two more strands of approximately equal amounts right and left and start braiding. For

this, insert the outer strands alternately over the middle.

Continue braiding, introducing a new strand from alternating sides each time.

Secure it with a hair tie.

Party glamour

Do a centre parting.

Take strands of about 5cm to 6cm from the front of the hair and secure them with clamps.

At the back of the head you need to create volume by backcombing. Divide the hair with a tail

comb into smaller sections and slide it in the direction of hair root. Spray some hairspray on the

brush, brush hair back and gently flatten it carefully.

Then, tie the hair in a ponytail

Now, decorate the side of the hair with a sparkling hair accessory. This makes the hairstyle even

more glamorous.

Take some strands of hair from the main body of hair which is tied back and twirl them.

Place these twirled strands in place where the hair is tied and fix in place invisibly with bobby

pins.

Take the strands you clamped, twirl these and insert with the other twirled strands, looped together

where the hair is tied. Fix with pins invisibly.
