Accelerated PET, FCE & CAE Preparation Course - CP4 Course Aim: This intensive course is designed to rapidly prepare students for the Cambridge examinations by providing them

with a thorough preparation for the exam of their choice.

Course Description: CEC’s accelerated courses prepare you for the exam by providing you with a thorough preparation for

the Cambridge English exam of your choice. The courses have been specially designed to maximise exam success and you

will have to master to pass the exam. Teachers give detailed feedback throughout the course on how you can improve in each

technique.

Cambridge Accelerated Preparation Courses:

Tuition in exam tasks and techniques

Familiarisation with the format of all papers

Self-correction techniques

Regular practice tasks

Preparation for the Speaking Test including practice tests with experienced trainers.

Weekly practice examinations

Due to the intensive nature of the courses, it is essential that students are at the required minimum level. CEC requests that all

students booking on an intensive Cambridge preparation course take a placement test when booking the course and

registering for their chosen exam. The placement test consists of a written paper and a speaking assessment. Speaking

assessment takes place via Skype. CEC is an approved Paper Based and Computer Based Cambridge Testing centre.

This programme includes:

CP - 20 Lessons per week (One lesson = 60 minutes)

Practice Exam Sessions every 2 weeks.

Preparation for Reading, Writing, Listening and Use of English papers with regular timed examination practice FREE.

Maximum 12 pupils per class

Certificate at end of Course

Afternoon Social and Cultural Programme

Self-Study on our E-Learning platform

Transfers to and from Cork Airport (with host family accom)

The Cambridge Examinations take place in March, June July, August and December.

Cork English College has run these courses for a number of years and our students have achieved excellent results. On

completion of their course, you take the FCE and CAE exams with us in CEC.

CEC is an approved Paper Based and Computer Based Cambridge Testing centre.
