As it is our mission to Be the Church by bringing Christ to as many people as possible, we have made it a priority to bring quality religious adult education to every parishioner. Consequently, your Religious Education department has been very busy preparing an array of wonderful opportunities for you to better know, live, and grow your faith this winter and spring. As your pastor, it is my sincere hope and prayer that you will make it a priority to take advantage of one or more of these opportunities. Whatever your schedule or age, there is a way for you to increase your knowledge of our faith, to learn how to better live out your faith, and to give your faith the time to grow in depth. We offer programs in the mornings, during the day, in the evenings, on weekends and even from your own home using our online Formed subscription. hear from Paul’s le7ers nearly every Sunday but if we do not know the man Paul, his struggles

within himself, and the Churches he writes to, we will not see the importance of the solu�ons

he offers and their effect on the church then and now.

Ecos de Fe es un programa para la formación de catequistas y aprobado por la Arquidiócesis

de Atlanta. Es un proceso flexible y con�núo para el catequista, que le toma

aproximadamente trece semanas de formación. Incluye tres módulos catequé�cos, cinco

módulos teológicos y cinco módulos metodológicos. El sistema usa DVDs y folletos que se

adaptan a los horarios de las vidas de los catequistas.

La mayoría de los católicos no están evangelizados y sólo insuficientemente catequizados

porque las Parroquias dan sólo catequesis pre-sacramentales. Por lo tanto, los católicos no

evangelizados no �enen una adhesión explícita y personal a Jesucristo, porque la primera

evangelización no ha tenido lugar. Necesitamos la evangelización kerigmá�ca como la

absoluta prioridad en la misión en la Iglesia, con su lugar central e irremplazable, para que

pueda haber un encuentro vivo con Cristo, en radical conversión, experiencia de salvación y

de Vida nueva, recibir el Don del Espíritu Santo como Poder de Dios para ser tes�gos; esto se

logra a través de El Re�ro de Evangelización que se preparará con una reunión semanal.

Después del re�ro formamos comunidades parroquiales de evangelizados para crecer juntos

en la fe.

Los padres son los primeros y principales educadores de sus hijos. Su tarea empieza en la

concepción del hijo y su labor se prolonga durante toda la vida. Ellos, que han dado la vida a

los hijos y establecen con ellos una relación única de amor, son quienes están en condiciones

de transmi�r la educación a los hijos. En la parroquia de San Judas ayudamos a los padres a

través del programa de Catequesis a entender esta responsabilidad y prepararse para

poderla cumplir. Incluye la preparación de los niños para su primera reconciliación y su

primera comunión.

No Catecismo da Igreja Católica temos que a «existência dos seres espirituais, não corporais,

que a Sagrada Escritura chama habitualmente Anjos, é uma verdade de fé» (CIC 328). «Por

todo o seu ser, os Anjos são servidores e mensageiros de Deus. Porque contemplam

“constantemente a face de meu Pai que está nos céus” (Mt 18,10), são “poderosos executores

de sua palavra, obedientes ao som de sua palavra” (Sl 103,20)» (CIC 329); «são criaturas

pessoais e imortais» (CIC 330). Esta é uma oportunidade de conhecermos um pouco melhor

sobre a natureza dos anjos; a queda dos anjos; os nove coros de anjos; a importância dos anjos

da guarda; São Miguel Arcanjo; São Rafael; a Guerra Espiritual; Padre Pio e sua relação com

seu anjo da guarda.
