In the General tab, click the Delete button under the Browsing History section.

The Delete Browsing History window opens. At a minimum, be sure the box next to Temporary Internet files is checked. Verify with your IT department which other options should be checked. Then click Delete.

You will see a message on the bottom of the screen displaying that Internet Explorer has finished deleting the selected browsing history. Click OK to close the Internet Options window.
