I. INTRODUCTION

Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences (MGPGI) which was originally named as Pondicherry Dental College has been established by Pondicherry Administration in September, 1990 as an Autonomous Institution of the Government of Puducherry and is administered by a duly constituted Board of Governors headed by the Chairman and the Chief Secretary to Govt. of Puducherry, as Vice-Chairman. The Institution is functioning at Gorimedu, Puducherry and is being developed as a Centre of Excellence.

Within a short span, MGPGI has become the “Best institution in the Country under the Govt. Sector” with well-equipped Hospital / clinics and laboratories and is strongly committed to maintain excellence in Dental Education and Research with the ultimate goal of achieving the status as one of the “Best Dental Institutions at the International level”. Seeing the enormus growth of the college, the Govt. of Puducherry has upgraded and renamed this college as Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences (MGPGI). This is the first such Institute in Government sector to function as PG Institute in Dental Sciences on par with other Medical institutes of National repute. The students who have passed out of this Institution are well placed at national and international levels.

The Institution has an excellent Library with a vast collection of text books and journals worth approximately ` 360 lakhs, authored by outstanding experts in the field. This Institution is affiliated to the Pondicherry Central University.

The sanctioned intake for the under graduate (BDS) course is 40 seats under the following categories.

1. Puducherry Domicile / Residents - 29 2. Non-Resident Indians/NRI Sponsored / Foreign students - 5 3. All India Quota - 6

The selection of the candidates for the undergraduate courses, under the Puducherry domicile category is made purely on merit basis by the Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC), Govt. of Puducherry based on the marks obtained in the Higher Secondary level in science subjects. The seats allotted under the All India Quota are filled in by the candidates sponsored by the Director General of Health Services (DGHS), Govt. of India through the Entrance Examination conducted on All India basis. The candidates seeking admission under the NRI / NRI sponsored / Foreign student quota are admitted on merit basis based on the marks scored in the equivalent board examinations. The duration of the BDS course is four (4) academic years with one year of internship. Postgraduate Courses (MDS) are offered in the following six specialities / branches. The duration of the Postgraduate course is three full academic years.

II . ADMISSION PROCEDURE (a) Basic Requirements for Admission :

An applicant seeking admission under Puducherry Domiciles to the Postgraduate Courses (MDS) should be an Indian National and a domicile / resident of Puducherry.

Candidates should have passed BDS degree (the qualifing examination) of

any Indian University recognized by the UGC as well as the Dental Council of India and the Pondicherry Central University and must have completed one year of compulsory rotatory internship in all the dental departments. The candidates should have registered in the appropriate dental council.

In case the appearance of NEET is made compulsory by the Ministry of

Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India, then the same rule will be made applicable (Subject to the final decision by the DGHS / DCI & final verdict of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India).

Candidates should ensure that the BDS degree awarded to them is recognized by the UGC, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India. If any discripancy found, the candidature will automatically stand cancelled. Candidates who are completing their internship not later than 31.03.2016 are also eligible to apply.

Allocation of seats are as per the norms of DGHS, New Delhi and the reservation policies of the Govt. of Puducherry.

(c) Criteria for Residents / Domicile / Nativity :- The following shall be the criteria prescribed for determining persons as

Resident of this Union Territory of Puducherry :- 1. The candidate or whose parent (either Mother or Father or Both) or

Guardian (in the case of Children who have lost both the parents) has been residing continuously in this Union Territory for at least 5 years preceding the date of application.

2. Those who have passed B.D.S. or any other public examination and for that

purpose had undergone academic studies continuously for 5 successive academic years immediately preceding the qualifying examination (including the year of the qualifying examination) in recognized educational institution(s) located in Puducherry UT and having their residence in Puducherry UT for 5 years continuously during that period.

3. Children of Central / State Government servants / Defence Personnel /

Central paramilitary forces / Employees of Public Sector Undertakings wholly or substantially run either by the Central Government or by the Puducherry UT administration posted and serving in the Puducherry UT for atleast a minimum period of one year prior to the last date of submission of application.

4. Children of Defence personnel who were killed or disabled in action and

children of Central Government servants / Puducherry UT Government servants / Defence personnel / Employees of Public Sector Undertakings as referred in category 3 who died while in service in Puducherry U.T.

5. French Nationals residing in the Puducherry UT and covered by the terms of

Treaty of Cession shall be treated on par with the candidates who produce the prescribed Puducherry UT residence certificate. Such French nationals will not be required to produce residence certificate, instead they should produce a certificate of registration issued for this purpose from the French Counsulate at Puducherry. Children of these French Nationals shall not be considered for admission under the quota of nonresidents.

6. Nativity by birth: The applicant should have been born in the Union

Territory of Puducherry and should have been ordinarily residing within the Union Territory prior to the date of application. In order to satisfy the criterion of “Ordinarily resident”, the person should have been staying either by himself or with his family within the Union Territory of Puducherry continuously with a clear intention of residing there permanently, but for temporary absences from such place of residence for

reasons of job or education, etc. As long as the applicant is able to establish satisfactorily his intention to return to his place of residence on the conclusion of such temporary absence, he may be considered to be a person ordinarily residing in the Union Territory.

7. Nativity by continous residence: The applicant should have been residing

continuously for five years in the Union Territory prior to the date of the application.

III. APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION

(A) Application Procedures for Puducherry Domiciles : 1. Application for admission should be made in the prescribed form. 2. Application forms along with Information Bulletin can be downloaded from the institute website (http://mgpgi.puducherry.gov.in). Duly filled in application form together with the prescribed fee by a Crossed Demand Draft for ` 2,500/- (` 750/- for SC Candidates) drawn in favour of the DEAN, MAHATMA GANDHI POSTGRADUATE INSTITUTE OF DENTAL SCIENCES, PONDICHERRY, payable at STATE BANK OF INDIA, PONDICHERRY should be submitted. Money Orders / Postal Orders/ Cheques, etc. shall not be accepted. 3. All applications duly completed, should be addressed to the DEAN, MAHATMA GANDHI POSTGRADUATE INSTITUTE OF DENTAL SCIENCES, GORIMEDU, PONDICHERRY – 605 006. The application should be submitted on or before 08.01.2016 (by 05.30 p.m.) either in person or by registered post. The Institute shall not be responsible for any postal delay. 4. Applications which are incomplete, defective or received after the due date and time shall be rejected summarily, and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard. No responsibility will be taken by this Institute for any postal delay or non receipt / loss in transit. 5. The Service candidates applying for PGDEE (open competition) must submit their applications in the prescribed form (downloaded from institute website), through proper channel along with “Forwarding Note” as in the application form to reach the office of the Dean on or before the due date and time failing which the candidate shall not be permitted to sit for the examination (PGDEE).

In case delay is anticipated, they should submit an ADVANCE COPY OF THE APPLICATION with the copies of all documents. The Service Candidates will be allowed to sit for the PGDEE Exam only on receipt of the forwarding note from the Government / Employer. 6. The Attested copies of the following certificates should be submitted along with the application form.

i. Birth Certificate / SSLC Mark List / Proof of date of Birth. ii. BDS Degree or Provisional Pass Certificate. iii. Registration Certificate Under Dentist Act. from the State Dental Council. iv. Internship Completion Certificate. If internship is not completed, a

certificate from the Head of the Institution may be furnished. The registration certificate has to be submitted after completing the internship.

v. Nationality Certificate from the competent authority (Obtained on or after 01.10.2015).

vi. Caste Certificate from the competent authority for applying against the seats reserved for MBC / OBC / SC (Obtained on or after 01.10.2015).

vii. Residence Certificate from the competent authority (Obtained on or after 01.10.2015).

viii. Transfer Certificate issued by the Head of Educational Institution last studied.

ix. Conduct Certificate issued by the Head of Institution last studied. Note : It is the duty of the candidate to ensure that he / she belongs to particular community for which he / she has applied. If, the candidate fails to substantiate his / her claim, his / her application will be considered under General category subject to payment of balance application fees, failing which his / her application will be treated as cancelled. No correspondence shall be entertained in this regard. (b) Application Procedures for NRI / NRI sponsored / Foreign Students : 1. Application forms along with Information Bulletin can be downloaded from the institute website (http://mgpgi.puducherry.gov.in). Duly filled in application form together with the prescribed fee by a Crossed Demand Draft for ` 5,000/- or equivalent cost in US Dollars drawn in favour of the DEAN, MAHATMA GANDHI POSTGRADUATE INSTITUTE OF DENTAL SCIENCES, PONDICHERRY, payable at STATE BANK OF INDIA, PONDICHERRY should be submitted. Money Orders / Postal Orders/ Cheques, etc. shall not be accepted. No responsibility will be taken by this Institution for any postal delay or non-receipt / loss in transit.

2. All payments shall be made by crossed Demand Draft only, drawn in favour of the Dean, Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences, Pondicherry payable at State Bank of India / Nationalised Banks at Pondicherry. 3. The following attested copies of certificates must be submitted alongwith the application for M.D.S. Courses.

i. Birth Certificate / SSLC Mark List / Proof of date of Birth. ii. BDS Degree or Provisional Pass Certificate recognised by the DCI /

Pondicherry Central University. iii. Registration Certificate Under Dentist Act from the State Dental Council

as applicable to foreign students. iv. Internship Completion Certificate. v. Transfer Certificate/Migration Certificate issued by the Head of the

Institution / University last studied (Whichever is applicable). vi. Conduct Certificate issued by the Head of the Institution last studied. vii. Foreign students should hold passport / produce valid visa obtained from

the concerned Indian Mission abroad. viii. Certificates regarding NRI / NRI Sponsored / Foreign Students i.e. a)

Proof of NRI sponsorer / NRI, b) Valid Visa, c) Undertaking by sponsorer (NRI), d) Latest pay certificate / Employment certificate of sponsorer.

4. The application in the prescribed form complete in all respects along with copies of all certificates/documents should reach the office of the Dean, Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences, Gorimedu, Pondicherry–605 006, on or before 08.01.2016, 05.30 p.m.) either in person or by Registered post. The Institute shall not be responsible for any postal delay. 5. Applications which are incomplete, defective or received after the due date shall summarily be rejected and no correspondence shall be entertained in this regard. 6. It would be convenient if the candidates arrange themselves to receive any communication by post in India. 7. Foreign Nationals (students) shall follow the directions issued by the Govt. of India from time to time wherever applicable to them. 8. Any further details about the Institution can be obtained in the Website address given in the last page.

IV. PGDEE

1. Students seeking admission under Puducherry domiciles and NRI / NRI Sponsored / Foreign Students should take up the Postgraduate Dental Entrance Examination conducted by the Institution at MGPGI, Pondicherry only.

2. The names of the eligible candidates to appear for the PGDEE-2016 will be displayed on the Institute website (http://mgpgi.puducherry.gov.in) and on the Institute notice board. The admit card should be downloaded from the Institute website. The candidates are instructed to affix the copy of the same photograph in the downloaded admit card as in the application form.

Note : Those who have problem in downloading the Admit card should

contact the Dean / Registrar / Assistant Registrar (Academic) with a photograph attested by a Gazetted Officer / Head of the Institution on 21.01.2016, before 3.00 p.m. The issue of such Admit card shall be provisional.

3. There shall be only one paper of three hours duration consisting of 200

Multiple Choice Questions. 4. The competitive entrance examination will be conducted only in ENGLISH

and consist of objective type of questions of BDS standard. Each correct answer will carry one mark. More than one answer indicated against a question will be deemed as incorrect response and awarded Zero Marks. There will be no negative marks.

5. The examination will be conducted from 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon on

31.01.2016 at MGPGI campus, Puducherry. 6. Test Template

(i) Each candidate will be given Test Booklet.

(ii) Immediately on receipt of the Test Booklet, the candidates will fill in the required particulars on the cover page of the Test Booklet with Black ball point pen only. Candidate will not open the Test Booklet until asked to do so by the Invigilator.

(iii) In case of discrepancy, the candidate should immediately report the matter to the invigilator for replacement of both the Test Booklet and Answer sheet.

(iv) After completing the Test and before handing over the Answer Sheet, the candidate should check again that all the particulars required in the Answer sheet have been correctly written and marked.

(v) The Answer Sheet will be found placed inside the Test Booklet.

(vi) The Answer Sheet used will be of special type which will be scanned on Optical Scanner.

7. Marking the Responses

(i) Use Black Ball Point pen only to darken the appropriate circle. Answers marked with pencil would not be evaluated.

(ii) Mark should be dark and should completely fill the circle.

(iii) Darken only one circle for each entry as the Answer once marked is not liable to be changed.

(iv) A lightly or faintly darkened circle will be treated as a wrong method of marking and will be rejected by the Optical Scanner.

(v) Make the marks only in the space provided.

(vi) Use of eraser or white fluid on the Answer Sheet is not permissible as the Answer Sheets are machine gradable and it may lead to wrong evaluation.

(vii) If more than one circle is darkened or if the response is marked in any other manner shall be treated as wrong way of marking.

(viii) The candidate will not do any rough work or writing work on the Answer Sheet.

(ix) There will be four alternatives for each of the question numbering 001 to 200 in PGDEE-2016 Examination. The candidate will indicate response to the question by darkening the appropriate circle completely with Black Ball Point Pen.

For example, Question No. 027 in the Test Booklet reads as follows :

Question No. 027 : Taj Mahal is situated in (1) Agra (2) Mumbai (3) Delhi (4) Bangaluru

The correct response to this question is (1) Agra. The candidate will locate question No. 027 in the Answer Sheet and darken the circle

027 If the candidate does not want to attempt any question, he/she should not darken the circle given against that question. Please do not fold the Answer Sheet and do not make any stray mark on it.

8. First counselling for the successful candidates in the PGDEE will be held on 11.04.2016 at 10.00 a.m. at the premises of the Institution.

Merit List would be drawn category wise based on minimum percentage of marks as given below:

Category

General (UR) / NRI : 50 % marks OBC / MBC / SC / ST : 40 % marks

In order to be eligible for admission to any Postgraduate course at MGPGI, it shall be necessary for a candidate to obtain minimum of 50 % marks in the PGDEE for the current academic year. However, in respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes the minimum marks shall be 40 %. Candidates who secure less than the minimum percentage of marks in the Entrance Examination will not be considered for admission and their names will not be included in the Merit List. 9. (a) A merit list of candidates for Puducherry Domiciles / Residents and NRI / NRI Sponsored / Foreign Students will be prepared separately on the basis of total marks obtained in the competitive entrance examination (PGDEE-2016). (b) Determination of inter-se merit of candidates obtaining equal marks : In case of two or more candidates obtaining equal marks in the competitive entrance examination (PGDEE-2016), the inter-se merit of candidates will be determined as under : According to age – older getting precedence over younger. (c) The machine-gradable Answer Sheets are evaluated with extreme care and are repeatedly scrutinized. There is no provision for rechecking/re-evaluation of the answer sheets and no query in this regard will be entertained.

10. The candidates are advised to see the results on the Notice Board, MGPGI/MGPGI Website.

11. All the candidates (Puducherry Domicile) will be considered for selection against Open General Category seat. Once the Open General Category seats have been filled up as per the merit list, the remaining seats under the reserved categories, (as the case may be) viz., MBC / OBC / SC will be filled up. In the event of a candidate not reporting for the first round of counselling / absent the seat falling vacant shall be filled only in the subsequent round of counselling according to merit as deemed fit after obtaining approval from the competent authority. In the event of non availability of eligible candidate as per merit in any category (as the case may be) viz. OBC / MBC / SC, the seat will be considered for selection against open general category as per the order of merit.

12. In the event of non availability of eligible candidate in the open general category also, then the next eligible candidate in any of the other categories viz. 13. It is the responsibility of the candidates to ascertain whether they possess the requisite qualification for admission. Having been called for admission / counseling does not necessarily mean fulfillment of eligibility for admission.

14. The selected candidates will be required to submit all the documents in original at the time of admission.

Note: As regards the selected candidates who fail to produce the required documents in original at the time of admission, their admission is liable to be cancelled. No request / correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

15. Candidates are advised to take enough number of photocopies of the documents before submitting the original documents to this Institution.

16. Canvassing in any form will be considered as a disqualification.

17. The candidates who are provisionally selected should bring all the certificates / documents in original at the time of admission, failing which the provisional admission offered shall be cancelled. In the event of a candidate not reporting for the first round of counselling / absent the seat falling vacant shall be filled only in the subsequent round of counselling according to merit as deemed fit after obtaining approval from the competent authority.

20. The Institute has excellent hostel facilities for Gents and Ladies separately. It is compulsory for the P.G. Students to stay in the Hostel. Selection Procedure for NRI / NRI sponsored / Foreign Students :

1. One seat for MDS Course at Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences is permitted to be filled in by NRI / NRI Sponsored / Foreign Students for the academic year 2016-2017.

2. In order to be eligible for admission to any Postgraduate course at MGPGI, it shall be necessary for a candidate to obtain minimum of 50% marks in the PGDEE for the current academic year. Candidates who secure less than the minimum percentage of marks in the Entrance Examination will not be considered for admission and their names will not be included in the Merit List. In the event of non availability of eligible candidate, the seat will be filled as per merit as deemed fit during subsequent counseling after obtaining approval from Competent Authority.

3. Admission under the above mentioned category will be made to the I year of MDS course based on the merit list of marks scored in PGDEE under the separate quota for NRI / NRI sponsored / Foreign students and the qualifying exams recognised by Ministry of Health, Govt. of India / Dental Council of India / Pondicherry University.

4. The candidates are advised to see the results on the Notice Board, MGPGI/ MGPGI Website.

5. Candidates provisionally selected for admission from among the NRI / NRI Sponsored/Foreign Students should attend the counselling on 11.04.2016. In the event of a candidate not eligible / reporting for the first round of counselling / absent the seat falling vacant shall be filled only in the subsequent round of counselling according to merit as deemed fit after obtaining approval from the competent authority. No communications shall be sent to the applicant who are not selected and no correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.

If any candidate fails to join the course or discontinues the course at any time, the fees once paid shall not be refunded in any case. Those who discontinue the course, will have to pay a penalty of ` 50,000/- (subject to change) to this Institution as per the undertaking. The emoluments for the month in which he / she discontinues the course shall be forfeited, and they should also give one month’s prior notice. In the event of failure to give one month’s notice, one month’s emoluments in lieu thereof will be recovered. Institute Fees for NRI / NRI sponsored / Foreign Students :

1. Collection of US $ 40,000/- (payable by US Dollors only) for MDS course as one time admission fees and ` 1.25 lakhs (Rupees One lakh twenty five thousand only) as annual fees (including all types of fees). All payments shall be made by crossed demand draft only. No cash transaction is entertained.

2. University Recognition fee / Examination fee / Development fee and Sports fee or any such other fee as prescribed by the Pondicherry Central University shall be borne by the student.

3. If any candidate fails to join the course or discontinues the course at any time, the fees once paid shall not be refunded in any case and they will get their certificates back, only after paying the fees for the remaining part of the course.

It shall not be the matter of right. Hostel Fees has to be paid separately as prescribed by the Institute from time to time. VI. MEDICAL EXAMINATION

Candidates who are provisionally selected for admission should get themselves medically examined by the Medical Board, Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences, Puducherry and produce a Medical Fitness Certificate in original at the time of admission.

VII. CONTRACT All Postgraduate Jr. Residents will be covered under the Residency Scheme

on contract service and they will be required to enter into separate contract for the first year, second year and third year of the course as the case may be. If any candidate discontinues the course at any time he / she will have to abide by all the terms and conditions as per the contract executed by him/her. In respect of service candidates the same will be governed by the existing rules, apart from enforced rules from time to time.

VIII. EMOLUMENTS (a) Emoluments for Puducherry Domiciles and All India Quota :

The candidates admitted to postgraduate courses through open competition will be taken as “Junior Resident” during the period of the course. The total duration of the salary period of Junior Residents will be only 3 years and they will be paid as admissible under the rules in force from time to time per month based on satisfactory performance.

a) If any PG – Jr. Residents is found guilty for non compliance of rules and regulations and also unsatisfactory performances or misbehaviour or misconduct or disobedience reported by HOD / Guide / Warden and approved by the Dean shall not receive any salary for the said / mentioned period. b) The postgraduate Jr. Resident can also be suspended / other action may be taken on the grounds mentioned above. c) If necessary any disciplinary matter can be referred to a committee constituted by the Dean.

A Performance report will be sought from HOD / Guide in this regard and subject to approval from the Head of the Institution. The following emolument will be paid if found satisfactory.

During the period of the Junior Residency, the candidates should not be in

receipt of any Scholarship / Financial Assistance / Salary etc. from other sources.

(b) No Emoluments for NRI / NRI Sponsored / Foreign Students : No Salary will be paid to NRI / NRI Sponsored / Foreign Students admitted to MDS course. Penalty can be levied for non performance / unsatisfactory work. (c) The period of Postgraduate course is strictly full time and continuous. Private practice in any form is strictly prohibited. Those who are found to be doing private practice in any form shall be debarred.

IX. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Duties and responsibilities of the Postgraduate Jr. Residents will be as fixed

by Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences, Pondicherry from time to time. They will be required to perform such work as may be needed in the legitimate interest of patient care in the hospital / laboratory work / teaching schedule.

All the postgraduate Jr. Residents are required to attend annual academic

events like conferences, conventions etc. every year and participate in scientific deliberations failing which he / she may be detained from appearing in the University Examinations.

X. HOURS OF WORK Continuous active duty for Resident Doctors (All Postgraduate Students)

will not normally exceed 12 hours at a time subject to exigencies of work. The resident doctors will also be required to be on call duty / emergency not exceeding 12 hours at a time.

XI. LEAVE

Postgraduate Jr. Residents can avail only 30 days of leave in an academic year. The leave that is not availed during a year cannot be carried forward to the subsequent year. The leave cannot be considered as a matter of right.

XII. DATE OF JOINING

Selected candidates must join the course after medical examination before

the stipulated date given in the letter of selection. The selected candidates should pay the requisite fees as stipulated in the selection order. The admission of candidates who fail to pay the requisite fees by the stipulated date in the letter of selection or fail to join the course on the stipulated date, will be treated as cancelled. The vacant seats shall then be offered to the candidate in the waiting list in the order of merit. Under any circumstances, extension of joining time will not be allowed.

Admission to the course will be provisional, subject to the recognition of

the qualifying examination of the individual candidates by the Pondicherry Central University.

XIII. REGISTRATION WITH THE PONDICHERRY CENTRAL UNIVERSITY

Candidates who have been provisionally admitted to the postgraduate

courses in this Institute, should register themselves with the Pondicherry Central University in the prescribed form along with BDS degree certificate in original or provisional BDS pass certificate etc. and the Registration Fee as required by the Pondicherry Central University. Candidates who have been provisionally admitted and who have qualified for the BDS degree from any University other than the Pondicherry Central University should apply for recognition of qualifying examination in the prescribed form, together with a course certificate in original from the Principal of the Institute from where he / she has passed BDS showing the duration of the course along with the required fee as prescribed by the University.

XIV. WARNING In case any candidate is found to have supplied false information or

certificate etc., or is found to have withheld or concealed information in his / her application form, he / she shall be debarred from admission and if already admitted, the admission will be cancelled without prejudice to other disciplinary action.

XV. DISCIPLINE

i. The Institute aims at maintaining the highest standard of discipline /

professionalism amongst the students. The students should abide by any general or special rules prescribed by the Institute in regard to discipline and conduct from time to time.

ii. All students shall attend Seminars / Discussions / Clinics / Labs etc. regularly and obtain minimum attendance as prescribed by the Pondicherry Central University

iii. Students shall not associate themselves with any political party or organization within or outside the Institute premises.

iv. Smoking, use of alcohol and intoxicating drugs inside the Institute are strictly prohibited.

v. Students shall desist from agitations, demonstrations and false propaganda by any means.

vi. Every student shall carry an Identity Card issued by the Institute Authorities.

vii. Any act of disobedience or misconduct will be dealt seriously.

PROGRESS IN STUDIES :

A Postgraduate Jr. Resident is expected to keep steady progress in his / her studies. If a student is found to be indifferent in studies or his / her attendance is poor, he / she may face termination / rustication from the Institute or may be detained from appearing in the University examination.

A Postgraduate Jr. Resident may have to buy the Instruments / materials etc., if required for the PG Programme as proposed by Guide in consultation with the Head of the Department and the Head of the Institution.

The PG – Jr. Resident should complete the requirements before appearing

for the University examination and should get satisfactory report from the HOD concerned and Head of the Institution.

RAGGING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED : Ragging is strictly prohibited. If any student indulges in any form of

ragging, he / she will be immediately suspended from the Institute and also other legal actions shall be initiated as per the directions issued by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India / Government from time to time if necessary.
