College Lower Topa, Murree

Students are required to undergo an annual medical

examination by the College Medical Officer during the five

year stay at PAF College, Lower Topa. Medically unfit

students are not allowed to continue at the College.

Matric After completion of Matric, only those obtaining

First Division (Grade A+, A & B) are retained for further

studies up to F Sc.

Fsc After F Sc, only those students qualifying ISSB,

declared medically fit by CMB and falling in the final merit

list are eligible to join PAF Academy, Asghar Khan Risalpur.

The four subjects mentioned above have equal weightage

(100 marks each).

In Mathematics and General Science candidates may

choose to attempt the papers in either English or Urdu

medium.

The papers are broad-based as the majority of candidates

will not have completed the class 7 syllabus when they sit in

c) It is highlighted that the overall academic efficiency level

of a student will be tested through the written test. The

syllabus is not restricted to VII class only. Therefore,

candidates are strongly advised not to indulge in rote

learning of class VII books. They must also revise

contents of their earlier years of study so that a true

picture of their academic ability becomes evident. 40%

of the Question Papers of the four subjects will be objective

type MCQs / Fill-in the blanks (Section A & B) and 60% will

be subjective / descriptive (Section-C). The specimen of

question papers (sample) is given on pages 29 and 30. All

the tests will take place on the same day. The Written Test for

the College is a competitive examination.

d) It has been observed that some parents / guardians

manage the date of birth of their son / ward in the birth

Certificate / Form 'B' different from the actual age. This

practice results in embarrassment for a candidate when he

reports for initial medical / interview (after qualifying the

Written Test). Parents / Guardians are advised not to indulge

in such a practice and ensure that only the correct date of

birth of their son / ward is mentioned.
