Demonstrative Adjective
• These adjectives point out the person, place or thing concerned.
• Examples:– This, that, these, those, such, same

Distributive Adjective
• These denote things taken one at a time each, every, either, neither etc.
• Examples– Each student must enter the hall in time.– Neither boy is trustworthy– On either side of road lie long field of barley.

Interrogative Adjective
• These are used with nouns to form questions ;e.g ,which, what ,whose etc
Examples;– Whose book is this?– Which colour do you like?

Possessive Adjective
• The words our, my, your, her, his, its, their etc when used attributively before a noun, are called possessive adjective.
• Examples:– This is my house.– How is your baby?

Exclamatory AdjectiveExclamatory Adjective
• They are used with nouns in exclamatory sentences.
• Examples:– What a fine day?– What good luck?– What a sweet rabbit?

Emphasizing Adjective These emphasize (lay stress on or focus) the
particular object. Examples:
This is my own house. His very name makes me angry.
Here own and very are Emphasizing Adjectives as they emphasize the noun or pronoun to which they belong.

• The superlative degree is used to compare more than two persons or things:
