Description Application is upgraded from 11.5.10.2 to 12.1.3 with shared Application in 2 nodes and its database in RAC, ASM.

Responsibilities Performed clone - Multi-node 11i Production database which is 2 Node RAC to single Node STAGE 11i application before upgrade.

Installed and configured Grid Infrastructure in new server and create an ASM instance using ASMLIB managed file-system and added other Diskgroup using ASMCA.

Stage database migration from HP-UX to Linux using XTTS. Installing R12.1.1 binary and apply patches in pre-install mode in the

application tier and then merging the upgrade driver with those preinstall patches under $AU_TOP/patch/115/driver path.

Configuring 12.1.1 with the database 11.2.0.4 previously installed and dumping the previous database in Apps tier and applying upgrade driver patch for 12.1.1

Disco setup for new instances. Working with different performance issues after upgrade with our

performance team and functional team. Backup configuration and other support activities.
