The site at White Lion Meadow is currently a paddock on the southeastern side of Lyonshall. ADAS carried out a landscape and visual appraisal in this area in order to describe the likely effects of the proposal on landscapes features, site character and wider area. The assessment was undertaken in accordance with best pracce and the Guidelines for Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (GLVIA) and was prepared by a Chartered Member of the Landscape Instute. Through the appraisal of the landscape and visual effects, it was demonstrated that the proposed residenal development would be a natural extension to the village designed to fit into the landscape context.
