About the Department

Career Areas

Computer Engineering is the application of electronic logic circuits to control and manage routine processes and solve problems in everyday human life. This field of study, which focuses on creating complex devices through the integration of simple logic circuits and programming, has yielded innovative computing devices that are so inexpensive and miniature in scale, they are today found everywhere, from toasters to automobiles. As a result, computer engineers work not only directly in their fields but also in many other different areas that are of interest to them. Our department, which offers English-medium instruction and an internationally accepted curriculum, aims to educate distinguished engineers to meet the growing needs domestically and abroad.

Adana Science and Technology University

As information technologies are increasingly integrated into our daily lives, computer engineers take on various roles across the public and private sectors in areas such as education, industry, trade, finance, service, telecommunications, consulting, and media and entertainment. Computer engineers specialize in hardware, software, and networks, taking on positions as job analysts, test engineers, and system architects, with many owning their own companies. In today’s economy, computer engineers who are well-trained and speak foreign languages can easily find well-paid jobs.
