The QuestFor the Magic Blue Unicorn

The Quest BeginsIn the realm of Olathe, at the great wooden halls of the land of Ernie Miller, I sought a blessing for my quest.

The First ChallengeWith the blessing of King Ernie in hand, we set out for the edge of the woodland realm where we immediately came upon the fabled Bridge of Judgment. Guarded by 18 wooden soldiers, silent but invincible. Only those who are pure of heart and worthy may pass.

Passing into the ForestHaving passed the test of the wooden soldiers, we moved into the forest where we found the traveling easy, until ...

Growing Danger... we came to the deepening portal where the skies darkened, the forest thickened and the way became dreary.

Land of LegendAs the forest deepened and the skies retreated beyond the grey we came upon the legendary hedges of Princess Aurora, who long ago was rescued and passed into legend as Sleeping Beauty.

Legend and LifeThe thorns of the impenetrable hedge repelled all attempts to follow in the footsteps of legends. We, regrettably, returned to our own quest.

The Forest RebelsAs evil took hold, life itself in the forest was warped.

Deadly DecayAt times it seemed that the dread evil in the forest would take over, but we pressed on even when our only food was the evil growth itself.

Seeking the WayThe paths in the darkness sought to distract us from our journey, but signs to point the way could be found for those clever enough to recognize them.

Knowledge and WisdomAt last we came upon signs that we had found the home of the Council of Elders. We waited here for months until we realized the wisdom came to those who wait, not to those who confront the Council.

Quest FulfilledWe left the groves of the Council of Elders, sure in our hearts that the Magic Blue Unicorn soon would stand before us. And, lo, there it stood.
