Activities Week 2018 - Please read carefully Monday 16th July – Thursday 19th July – Activities Week This booklet gives the details of the Farlingaye Activities Week 2018. This is a fantastic opportunity and every student is expected to take part. Only in exceptional circumstances, granted by the Headteacher, will students be allowed to opt out. Please consider affordability when selecting activities. Wednesday 7th and 8TH February – Options Forms Collected Please bring the attached form to the dining hall between 8.45 and 9.25 with your selections. No one will be able to hand a form in before this time. Please select either – one 4 Day Activity, OR two 2 Day Activities, (one to be chosen for Mon/Tues, one to be chosen for Wed/Thur). No money is required at this stage, final prices to be confirmed based on number of students participating. Students should be aware that in the event of an activity being over-subscribed, they will be contacted and a second choice may be required. A letter will be sent home via their tutor confirming your child’s activities and required payment methods. Monday 30th April – Payment Deadline For most activities the full, non-refundable payment is required by 30th April. (For activities which ask for two instalments to be made, the first payment must be made by 30th April, and the final instalment is to be made by 31st May.) As per the Pupil Premium policy, Pupil Premium cannot be used for Activities Week. Payment is non-refundable as tickets and transport need to arranged well in advance of Activities Week. Please note that once activities have been confirmed they cannot be changed. If payment is not made by the deadline it is likely that your child will be removed from the trip. Behaviour Requirements Parents should be aware that participation in Activities Week is dependent on good behaviour throughout the school year. This includes both during the day and on the way to and from school. Students who misbehave may not be able to participate in Activities Week but will be in school doing lessons.
