Orientation Programme: Orientation programme is an opportunity

for all new comers to get acquainted and

be the witnessed as a bonafide student

of the college. It was conducted by the

fraternity of SHDCHE at the beginning of

the commencement of academic session

2018-19, where all the faculty members

were introduced themselves and also

briefly explain about the followings:

Code of conduct

Time table and details of activity & event for the academic session.

Fresher’s Party-2018 Continuing with the proud tradition of the college

SHDCHE cultural committee was organized fresher’s

party on 4th September 2018. After lighting of lamp

and welcome speech, all the guests and dignitaries

were witnessed the celebration of the function as

the new students were given their introduction and

staged a competition about their talents over &

above the cultural events like dance, singing , play,

etc. After sharing the precious thoughts, the result of the competition was announced and crown ceremony was

done for MR. and MS. FRESHER. The show came to an end with all joy and happiness by rejoicing with music &

grooving the beats (DJ) after serving of delicious lunch.

Celebration Of Festivals Cultural committee of SHDCHE was taken all initiatives for celebration of festivals like Independence Day,

Janamastami, Teachers Day, Ganesh Chaturathi, Gandhi Jayanti, Diwali Mela, Lohri Celebration, Republic Day etc.

in a very structured manner during the academic session 2018-19 for spreading brotherhood, faith, love, sense of

respect and duty in between people. On the occasion all the students and the faculty members were shown their

interest at their own way by performing the various cultural events to make the festival with full of joys.

Farewell Party-2019 A Farewell Party-2019 was organized by the fraternity

of SHDCHE for outgoing students of Education &

Management on 20th April 2019. The programme was

started with lighting of lamp and Saraswati Vanadana.

The Chief Guest, Mr. Jai Bhagwan Singh (Chairman)

and The Guest of Honour, Dr. Jai Bhagwan (Principal)

and Dr. A.K. Choudhary (Director) were graced the

occasion. They motivated and inspired the students

with their valuable speech and shared their experiences with all loving students and given all good

wishes for future journey of life.

On this auspicious occasion various cultural events were

performed by the juniors. Each and every outgoing students

were felicitated with memento and enjoyed with lovely

exchange of words and also celebrated award ceremony for

all the achievements of all the students of the academic

session 2018-19.

On this occasion the Principal of the college also presented

Annual Report and also declared “THE BEST STUDENT OF

THE YEAR” as well as “MOST REGULAR STUDENT OF THE

YEAR” besides “THE EXCELLENT PERFORMER OF THE YEAR”

for the faculty. The function was concluded with a dedicated

song ” Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna…….” by the faculty members for the outgoing students and vote of thanks.

The programme was followed by lunch and thereafter students enjoyed a lot on DJ.

Personality Development Programme In this 21st century of globalization every individual, organization and nation are striving hard to get a good place

for their sustainability. As such over all personality and the quality of students have become essential, accordingly

SHDCHE is providing and extending the different Personality Development Programme to the students to develop

the additional skills and positive attitude besides knowledge by imparting classroom teaching for their excellent

performance.

National Conference

A National Conference on “Contemporary Issues for Corporate

Sustainability” was organized by Sant Hari Dass College of Higher

Education on 25th May, 2018. On this occasion, Dr. Jai Bhagwan,

Principal of the College welcomed all the distinguished guests and

audience and in his key note speech, he expressed about the

contemporary issues for Corporate Sustainability and categorically

motivated the delegates to discuss in-depth study to make understand

the relevance of these issues in view of ground realities and challenges.

In both the Technical Sessions, numbers of papers were presented by

the delegates from different areas and out of which some of the papers

have been accepted for its publication in conference proceedings after

obtaining ISBN.

A Proceedings of National Conference on “Contemporary Issues for

Corporate Sustainability” was released on December 28, 2018 by the

dignitaries of valedictory session of the FDP conducted by Mahatma

Gandhi National Council for Rural Education, MHRD, Govt. of India.

Faculty Development Programme

7-Days Faculty Development Programme was conducted in collaboration with Mahatma Gandhi National Council for Rural Education, MHRD India at Sant Hari Dass College of Higher Education on

“Nai Talim Experiential Learning And Work Education In School &

Teacher Education Curriculum”

B.Ed course curriculum the participants have been divided into five groups for all the seven days activities and

have been structured in major three events under

leadership of Ms. Divya Chhabra besides the Inaugural, Conceptualization and Valedictory sessions by the

distinguished resource persons :

On the last day representative of each group of

participants have presented a report of all seven days

activities which were reviewed by the resource person

and concluded in the valedictory session and the

certificate were distributed to all the participants

Faculty Enrichment Programme

Faculty Enrichment Programme on “Academic Integrity and Ethics in Education” was conducted on April 22-23,

2019 by expert faculty members for motivating and encouraging the faculty members of the College and to get

details about the opportunities of doing research work and also about the paper writings and its publication. In

fact, it is very essential to the faculty members to have creative minds to think and write the new ideas.

Knowledge Sharing Programme

The basic concept of this programme, as given by the Coordinator of the IQAC-SHDCHE, is to enhance the

knowledge by sharing among the faculty members of their area of specialization with help of interaction and

discussion on a common platform. For the purpose, the College has given opportunity to the faculty members to

do it as much as possible.

Over and above, The Internal Quality Assurance Cell- Sant Hari Dass College Of Higher Education (IQAC-SHDCHE)

has organized several Programmes for quality improvement of faculty members for addition of academic

credentials, in respect of the research work, irrespective of their area of specialization during the year through

extended lectures/seminars/workshops by eminent and experienced academicians.
