Tuition and Funding OpportunitiesEarning a graduate degree is an important commitment. The University of Tulsa understands you will be dedicating a significant amount of time and money to this endeavor. We pledge to do the same. Our goal is to maximize your investment with quality education.

HOW MUCH WILL MY DEGREE COST?Graduate tuition is charged by the credit hour. For the 2020 – 2021 academic year, tuition for graduate programs is $1,310 per credit hour. Additional student fees are $6 per credit hour. This fee provides access to the Collins Fitness Center and all athletic events free of charge. Online students do not have to pay the student fee but can if they choose.

ARE GRADUATE ASSISTANTSHIPS AVAILABLE?Graduate Assistantships are available for full-time students. Assistantship awards are for full tuition plus a monthly stipend and student health insurance. Graduate Assistants are required to work 20 hours per week in their assigned position. Applications are available through the Graduate Business Programs office or online.

ARE SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE?Academic based scholarships are available to all admitted students. Admitted domestic students may also apply for need based scholarships. To be considered for need-based assistance, a FAFSA must be on file with Student Financial Services. All scholarships are awarded on a first come first serve basis and are subject to available funding. Scholarship applications are available through the Graduate Business Programs office.

HOW DOES FINANCIAL AID WORK?Federal and private education loans are available for graduate students. The Office of Student Financial Services has a full-time graduate student advisor available to answer questions and help you understand opportunities in this area. Contact Kristi Emerson at (918) 631-3325, or [email protected] for more information.

DO EMPLOYERS OFFER TUITION REIMBURSEMENT?Consult with your employer about paying for your degree. Many employers offer tuition-reimbursement programs. If your employer does not, ask anyway. Many of our students have received funding from their employers even though it is not included in their regular benefits package.

DOES TU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?Yes. For students with tuition-reimbursement programs, deferment plans are available for the portion covered by the employer. Students may establish tuition payment plans with the Business Office. The Business Office must be contacted at the beginning of each term to set up a plan.
