What is Accessibility?
For Cisco Networking Academy, accessibility meansproviding access to our curricula for people with disabilities
Address the needs of students with visual, physical,cognitive, and auditory limitations, such as:
Visual blind, low vision, color blindness
Hearing and speech deaf, hard of hearing, mute
Physical mobility and dexterity impairment
The accessible CCNA curricula conform with exceptions toU.S. and international guidelines including:
Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (U.S.)
Americans with Disabilities Act (U.S.)
W3C- Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 (Global)
* Most countries have employment, design and manufacture, and procurement laws similar to ADAand Section 508 - we highlighted these laws as they are the most typical and stringent
