A motion was made to approve PE 185WC with revised outcomes that will be brought back to the first CC/IC meeting in the fall. These PE 185WS courses need to be approved for the new athletic programs to be started. PE 185WT M/S/A PE 185XA PE 185XC The old PE 185 courses were going to be presented for revision but did not get in the packet. PE 185XS Revision courses will be brought back in the Fall.

Language about dropping student for non-attendance needs to be included in syllabus because it affects financial aid. It was approved for Ken to develop a new program called Fisheries and Wildlife, with existing courses to be articulate with OSU. New program will be AAS, Associate of Science. Concept was approved to be presented in the fall for inclusion in the new catalog.

Current Description Proposed Description A sophisticated, three‐term course sequence that includes fundamental vocabulary, an introduction to theories, and analytical methods (graphs) of economics. Students use text related exercises and current events research to examination of the basic characteristics of the American economy and the principles that determine its performance. ECON 201 focuses on markets, consumer behavior and government‐business interaction. F, S ECON 202 focuses on the aggregate activity of a market economy, inflation, unemployment, and how the government can use macroeconomic policy to address these problems. W ECON 203 utilizes techniques learned in the previous courses as well as additional concepts to analyze contemporary regional and national economic problems, current international trade and financial conditions (currently not offered). Students should not attempt to take these courses until they have successfully completed WR 121, 122, 123, and MTH 111.Students should take the courses in sequence. Instructor approval is
ECON201 is the first in a two course series designed for students seeking a transfer degree. The courses require students to be comfortable with general writing, general math concepts, basic graphing, and have access to a computer with internet capability. This course provides an overview of microeconomic concepts and analysis, supply and demand analysis, theories of the firm and individual behavior, competition and monopoly, and government policy influences on economics. Students will also be introduced to the use of microeconomic applications including the use of economic graphs to address problems in current economic policy. 4 lecture hours/wk. F Recommended but not‐required pre‐work: ECON115, WR121, 122, 123, and MTH 111 or any equivalent courses.

basketball, through the use of plyometrics, strength, cardiovascular and agility exercises.
