PREFACE

A for Apple. B for Ball. C for Cat... This is what we sing out to our

child even before they are able to understand what is being said,

rather, even before they are put into schools. However, hardly does

it occur in our minds to introduce our children with choices that is

both interesting as well as useful. This book is prepared with an

intent to introduce children to English alphabets using terms from

Qur'an & Hadith, and wherever such an alternative term couldn't be

found is substituted with a term that is a product of either

Islamic/Muslim history, or of general world history. Although, the

terms used are originally Arabic, those terms are now standard

words in English dictionary.

Three terms are used for each alphabet. Of them one term is

provided against each alphabet as per general usage.

Verses from the Qur'an, or Sayings of the Prophet, peace be upon

him, or a short note on the term is provided as a guide for

teachers/handlers of children who use this book, as an explanation

guide.

This book should be accommodated in places where anything

Islamic is concerned.

We seek forgiveness from Allah for any wrong contained herein.

And seek increase in blessings for the goodness contained herein.

And May Allah make this book useful in this world, and as a means

of earning His Pleasure, and for a place in Jannathul-Firdaws.
