    Abstract

In this the robot is controlled by themobile phone that makes a call to the

mobile phone attached to the robot .In the

course of a call, if any button is pressed; a

tone corresponding to the button pressed is

heared at the other end of the call. This

tone is called dual tone multiple-frequency' (DTMF) tone. The robot

perceives the DTMF tone with the help of

the phone stacked in the robot.

The received tone is processed by the

    ATmega16 microcontroller with the help

    of DTMF decoder MT8870.The decoder

decodes the DTMF tone into its equivalent

binary digit and this binary number is sent

    to the microcontroller. The microcontroller

is programmed to take a decision for any

given input and outputs its decision to

motor drivers in order to drive the motor

for forward or backward motion or a turn.

The mobile that makes a call to the mobile

stacked in the robot as a remote. So this

simple robotic project does not require the

    construction of receiver and transmitter

units. DTMF signaling is used for

telephone signaling over the line in voice-

frequency band to the call switching

center. The version of DTMF used for

telephone tone dialing is known as TouchTone'. DTMF assigns a specific frequency

(consisting of two separate tones) to eachkey so that it can easily be identified by

    the electronics circuit. The signal

generated by the DTMF encoder is a direct

algebraic summation, in real time, of the

amplitude of two sine (cosine) waves of

different frequency, i.e., pressing 5' willsend a tone made by adding 1336Hz and

770Hz to the other end of end of the line

.The tones and assignment in a DTMF

system are shown in table I.

    Touch Screens With Feelings

    ABSTRACT:

This seminar includes the theory, design

and construction of a haptic display for

    creating texture sensations through

variations in surface friction. Ultra sonic

    frequency, low amplitude vibrations

between two flat plates have been shownto create a squeeze film of air between the

two plate surfaces thereby reducing the

friction. Here, it is shown that a reduction

of friction will also occur between a

human finger and a vibrating plate. Thus, a

vibrating plate can serve as a hapticinterface. The amplitude of vibration can

also be correlated to the amount of friction

reduction the plate and the finger. Varying

the surface friction between the finger and

the haptic interface is a way of indirectly

controlling shear forces on the finger

    during active exploration. Using finger

position and velocity feedback on the

display allows for the creation of spatial

    texture sensations.

    5G Mobile Technology

    ABSTRACT:

5G Technology stands for 5th Generation

Mobile technology. 5G technologies willchange the way most high-bandwidth users

access their phones. With 5G pushed over

    a VOIP-enabled device, people will

experience a level of call volume and data

    transmission never experienced before.5G

technology is offering the services in

    Product Engineering, Documentation,

    supporting electronic transactions (e-

    Payments, e-transactions) etc. As the

customer becomes more and more aware

of the mobile phone technology, he or she

will look for a decent package all together,

including all the advanced features a

cellular phone can have. Hence the search

for new technology is always the main

motive of the leading cell phone giants to

    out innovate their competitors. Recently

apple has produced shivers all around the

electronic world by launching its new

handset, the I-phone. Features that are

getting embedded in such a small piece ofelectronics are huge.

The 5G technologies include all type of

advanced features which makes 5G mobile

technology most powerful and in huge

demand in near future. The gigantic array

of innovative technology being built into

new cell phones is stunning. 5G

technology which is on hand held phone

offering more power and features than at

least 1000 lunar modules. A user can alsohook their 5G technology cell phone with

their Laptop to get broadband internet

    access. 5G technology including camera,

MP3 recording, video player, large phone

memory, dialing speed, audio player and

much more you never imagine. For

    children rocking fun Bluetooth technology

and Piconets has become in market.

    Femtocells Technology

    ABSTRACT:

    Femtocells, a technology little-known

outside the wireless world, promise betterindoor cellular service. In

telecommunication, a Femtocell is a small

cellular base station, typically designed for

use in a home or small business. It

connects to the service providers networkvia broadband. Current designs typically

support 2 to 4 active mobile phones in a

residential setting, and 8 to 16 active

mobile phones in enterprise settings. A

    Femtocell allows service providers to

    extend service coverage indoors,

    especially where access would otherwise

be limited or unavailable. For a mobile

operator, the attractions of a Femtocell are

    improvements to both coverage and

    capacity, especially indoors. This can

    reduce both capital expenditure and

    operating expense.

A Femtocell is typically the size of a

residential gateway or smaller, andconnects into the end-users broadbandline. Once plugged in, the Femtocell

connects to the MNOs mobile network, and provides extra coverage in a range of

typically 30 to 50 meters for residential

    Femtocells.

    The end-user must declare which

mobile phone numbers are allowed to

connect to his/her Femtocell, usually via a

web interface provided by the MNO.

When these mobile phones arrive under

coverage of the Femtocell, they switch

over from the Macrocell (outdoor) to the

    Femtocell automatically. Most MNOs

provide means for the end-user to know

this has happened, for example by having a

different network name appear on the

    mobile phone. All communications will

    then automatically go through the

Femtocell. When the end-user leaves theFemtocell coverage (whether in a call or

not), his phone hands over seamlessly to

    the macro network.

    AUTOMATION OF CARS IN

    EMBEDDED SYSTEMS

    Abstract:

    The technical Brilliance and

    Developments in different fields has

led to a drastic change especially in the

    communication field. Devices with

    intelligence rule the world. Imbibing

intelligence to these devices is through

    a system called EMBEDDED

SYSTEMS. It is the evolution or

    further development of the computing

system. Its applications providemarvelous opportunities for ingenious

    use of computer technology. Almost

every new system introduced is an

    example of Embedded System. These

    systems are more intelligent and

    autonomous.

    Embedded Systems are combinations

of hardware and software that are

    mounted on compact electronic circuit

    boards integrated into devices. They

are engineered or intended to perform

one specific function in a specific

    environment. An important decision in

the design of an embedded system is

the selection of the processor(s) around

which the rest of the system is to be

built. It is a chip that contains a

    microprocessor, some memory & I/O

    interface circuitry useful in

embedded applications and is oftencalled an EMBEDDEDPROCESSOR or MICROCONTROLLER chips as theyperform important control functions,

and are based on micro controller.

The current topic Automation of car

that we are going to present is one of

the fine examples of Embedded System
