Once logged in you have two options: By clicking on ‘Manage My Business’ on the left hand side, you can access your

Representative website where you can place your regular orders, check your account balance, see the latest news and access your WOW Benefits and My Learning Zone.

By clicking on ‘Open My Store’ on the right hand side, you can access your online

store where you can open, personalise and promote your store. Once your store is open, you’ll then use this link for the ongoing management and promotion of your store.

Enter your preferred store name into the box

Think carefully about what to call your store as it cannot be changed at a later date.

Your store name allows you to share your online store as a link to direct your existing

and potential customers to your store, so make sure it’s professional. Make it memorable and easy to remember, so try to avoid using hyphens or special

characters i.e. # $ %. You’re not able to have the word Avon as part of your store name, and the system will tell you if the name you enter has already been used by someone else.

The email address and contact number you enter here will be displayed on your store so that customers can get in touch with you.

This email address will also be used to send you notifications of new customers and

new orders on your store.

Just like the name of your store, you should ensure your email address looks professional and reflects how you would like your business to be seen by customers.

It’s important to let your customers know the best time to contact you if they need to discuss an order or delivery.

You can also add in here any other telephone numbers your customers can contact you

Click ‘Define my free delivery area’ Click into the ‘I deliver in the area around’ box Enter your postcode Drag the pin to the centre of your delivery area on the map Enter the number of miles, or use the slide, to set the radius you will

deliver to for free If you do not wish to show your location on the ‘Find A Representative’

Search map, untick the box Click ‘Save my free delivery area’

This section will let your customers know where you’re happy to deliver to for free, and you can set your delivery radius up to 15 miles, as long as you are happy to deliver there for free. You’re still able to deliver outside of the area you have defined as per your agreement with your customer.

You can only define one delivery area, however this could be around your home,

your work, or anywhere you’re happy to deliver to for free.

You can position the delivery pin in the centre of your delivery area, it does not have to located on your home address.

Your location and delivery area will automatically be shown on the ‘Find A

Representative’ search results map, if you’re able to benefit from the ‘Find A Representative’ function. If you don’t wish to be shown on this map, untick the box, however remember that customers are more likely to choose you as their Representative if they can see where you are.

Use the drop down menu to select a delivery option Click into the ‘Add your usual delivery times’ box Enter your delivery message Click Save

Your existing and potential customers will want to know when they are likely to receive any order they place on your online store, so it’s important you let them know how long they can expect to wait.

This will also give the customer a clear indication of how long they have to place

their order, and if they feel that they need their product sooner, they may still choose to shop with you, however chose to have their order delivered direct to their door by Avon. Remember, you ‘ll still earn any relevant discount on Direct Delivery orders placed on your online store, and just pay a small handling fee (see the separate guide on Discounts and Handling Fees).

If your customer does want their product sooner, you may decide to order an

Express Delivery and how you approach the Express Delivery fee is up to you, your business and the relationships you have with your customers. You may choose to pay the Express Delivery fee yourself, or you may ask the customer to pay the delivery charge and you can explain this within your delivery timescales.

Click ‘Find a photo on my computer’ Choose a suitable profile picture from the device you’re using

In order to be able to benefit and gain new customers from the ‘Find A Representative’ search function, you need to upload a photo of yourself on your online store.

Your potential customers will see this photo when they search on ‘Find A

Representative’, and it could be an influencing factor on whether they choose to shop with you – customer are more likely to choose a Representative when they can see what you look like.

Make sure your photo is recent, and is of you rather than your pet, or with your friends

and family. Remember, this photo should represent how you want your business to be seen by others.

Decide who can see your store by selecting Show in or Hide from ‘Find a Representative’ search.

‘Show in Find a Representative Search’ will be the default. This will allow customers who know you, as well as prospective customer to find you through the search function (see page 5 for details on how you can benefit from the ‘Find A Representative’ search).

If you only select the ‘Only customers who know you’ option, customers will only be able to search for you using your name, email address or phone number.

If you select ‘Hide from a Representative Search’, only people you share your online

store link with will be able to access your store.

Choose four Avon departments to feature on your store Click ‘Add / Change departments’ Click on a highlighted department to deselect it Click on a department to select it Click ‘Save’

Here you can bring your store to life by featuring different Avon departments.

Four departments will be automatically selected as default, and you’re able to change these dependant on your customers.

The departments offered will be updated on a regular basis, and you can change

them at any time to give your store a fresh look and to highlight any new products or offers.

Choose which Avon content to feature on your store Click ‘Add / Change content’ Use the scroll arrows to select the content Click ‘Save’

To really engage your customers and showcase Avon products, you can select a ‘look’ from a number of options which will be updated throughout the year.

These are videos and guides which will show your customers how to achieve the latest trend looks using Avon products such as how to apply the latest nail varnish designs to how to create smokey eye makeup.

You can use these guides yourself to help build up your own Avon product

knowledge so you feel comfortable and confident advising your customers.

There are a number of ways you can promote your online store and with Social Media you can you can advertise and promote your store to both new and existing customers.

All your friends, family and followers would need to do is click on the link to start shopping in your online store.

If you would like more details on how to use Social Media platforms, there are guides

available within My Learning Zone.

Click ‘Copy my link’ Press (CTRL+C) to copy your store link Then paste (CTRL+V) the link onto your selected document

Copy your store link to share it via email, or paste the link onto any flyers you’ve produced for your customers.

Write your store link on your order forms to let your customers know that can also

shop with you online – ideal for those last minute orders when you’ve collected the brochure. Make sure you write the link on both copies of the order form so your customer always has a copy.

Don’t forget to include your link on the business and canvassing cards if you’ve

ordered your free My Avon Store Starter Pack.

Tag your favourite products Choose a product from the new and trending products shown on the page or click ‘Search your store’ to look for a specific Avon product

Select ‘I Love this’ or ‘I Recommend this’ Click into the box and type in your message as to why you love or

recommend the product Click ‘Save and Tag’

Customers like to see what others think of a product and will often buy based on others recommendations.

This is your opportunity to let your customers know about the products you love and why you love them.

You can also let people know what your other customers think by choosing the ‘I

Recommend this’ option.
