In Accordance with the Turkish regulation regarding the ‘’Compilation and Submission of

Safety Data Sheets’’ (Reg. No: 27092 which came into force by 26 December 2009), SDS’s

have to be compiled by certificated personnel in Turkish with the Turkish chemical

names and a copy of each should be submitted to the legal authorities. With our

competent and certificated team, we provide this service within Turkey including both

the compilation and the submission of these SDS’s to the legal authorities as requested

by the regulation.

Chemical Inventory and Control Regulation:

All substances which are produced in Turkey or imported into Turkey, on their own or

in a preparation over 1 mta with the exceptions mentioned on related annexes are

under the scope of this regulation numbered 27092. Those substances should be

evaluated according to annual threshold and data requirements of the regulation should

be submitted to the IT system HEDSET within the timeline set by the regulation.

CRAD offers services including data reporting and submission of such data to the

authorities as part of its legislative and consultancy support services.

Regulation On Biocidal Products:

This Regulation which its main purpose is to adapt the Turkish Regulations to Acquis

Communautaire and to provide an effective control of biocidal products, has been

prepared by the Ministry of Health based on the Directive 98/8/EC of the European

Union and was published and come into force on the Official Journal (4th repeated) dated

31/12/2009 numbered 27449. The aim of this By-Law is the evaluation of the risks

which may arise from biocidal products on humans, animals and the environment as well

as production, importation, authorisation and registration, classification, packaging,

labelling, placing on the market, controlling of biocidal products according to this

evaluation.

DETAILS OF SERVICES FOR EU AND UN CHEMICAL RELATED REGULATIONS

REACH Compliance and Only Representative Services

According to Article 8 of REACH Regulation; a natural or legal person established outside

the Community who manufactures a substance on its own, in preparations or in articles,

formulates a preparation or produces an article that is imported into the Community

may by mutual agreement appoint a natural or legal person established in the

Community to fulfill, as his only representative, the obligations on importers.

In accordance with above mentioned Article of the Regulation, CRAD made a license

agreement with Cambridge Environmental Assessments in order to provide this service

with the highest level of competency in terms of industrial and legislative support.

Consultancy Support of Safety Data Sheets ( under the scope of EU Regulations )

Safety Data Sheets are indispensable and the most important element for the chemical

procurement communication.

The Safety Data sheets which was previously prepared according to Regulation (EEC)

91/155, has now to be compiled according to REACH Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 in E.U

and EEA and according to Turkish Ministry of Environment and Forestry Directive

adopted in 26 December 2008 which was published in the Turkish Republic Official

Journal and came into force by 26 December 2009.

On the other hand the new CLP Regulation which is directly-acting in all EU Member

States, and its provisions will be phased in a period of years until 1 June 2015 the time

that the regulation will be fully in force. This is intended to help suppliers and users of

chemicals change from the current EU classification and labelling system to the new

GHS-based system.

o Dangerous Substances Directive (67/548/EEC)

o Dangerous Preparations Directive (1999/45/EC)

As a result of this replacement, a new arrangement will be the case regarding the

preparation of Safety Data Sheets.
