Area Temps relies upon the services of various reference checking services. Therefore, Customer agrees to hold Area Temps harmless for errors or omissions in reports provided by these services. Customers should understand that State and Federal laws pertaining to Defamation of Character and various Privacy Acts have also restricted our ability to obtain personal character references, which can be subject to change at any time.

“By failing to complete an assignment as agreed, you will damage the professional reputation of Area Temps and harm a valuable business relationship with our client; therefore, should you fail to complete an assignment as agreed, without providing two weeks written notice, the hourly rate of any final outstanding wages due will be reduced to the current federal MINIMUM WAGE. Assignments of less than two weeks duration must be worked in their entirety.”
We have eliminated repeat offenders. If an Area Temps employee is terminated, he/she is placed on our DNU (Do Not Use) List, permanently removed from the City Search network, and cannot be placed again.
